Opened side door of garage and made new keys. Accidentally locked my garage door and then realized I had no keys. Joe came out immediately and got in the side door and re-keyed. He also helped fix the garage door that had gotten off the rail. I would definitely recommend Locke's Locksmiths.

Unlocked a basement door and rekeyed the locks to match other home locks with same key. They were fantastic! Came out on a day where our street was undergoing repairs. They called MDOT to get the neccesary clearances to get to our house (they were not letting anyone but residents on the street)! Going that extra distance was awesome!

I called with the intention of having all new locks placed in my home. He asked me why I wanted to do this and after I explained my reasons he told me it was not necessary to redo all my locks and told me a much simpler and cheaper option I could do on my own. I was very surprised that he was concerned enough to inquire as to why I thought I needed new locks and then was nice enough to not just "make the sale" and gave me honest good advice at the loss of a job. But I will definitely remember him and WILL go to him for any future needs or jobs as he has shown himself to be honest and reputable! I am pleasantly surprised.

He re-locked the whole house. He showed up on time. He worked quickly and gave me some good advice on what brand of locks to use.

I bought a duplex and asked Joe to re-key 5 doors and commonize the keys for each unit.

When I first spoke to Joe, he gave me prices over the phone for service and re-key charges, etc. He estimated his arrival and then also called to confirm he was on the way.

Unfortunately, it was one of the hottest days so far with no A/C. He worked for some time in the awful heat and made suggestions to move some locks to reduce the costs in commonizing the keys. He also double checked everything I requested to make sure we both understood what was needed. The cost was below my expectations for the job, having used locksmiths several times in the past decade.

Locke's replaced two locks and added a thumb turn to the entry way door of the business I work for. I called Lockes on the Wednesday or Thursday prior to the locks being installed and they came out that same night to assess our situation. They called me back the next day and I placed my order. The part was in the next day and then I scheduled them to come out on Monday to do the work. They were punctual and completed both locks within an hour. They made keys on site and stamped them "Do Not Copy" as requested. A couple of days later I needed a few more keys and I had no problem getting them at short notice. I especially liked that their truck was equipped with a credit card reader, making payment hassle free. I will use them again for professional and personal business.

I called Saturday, July 5, because I'd inadvertently locked myself out of the front of my newly purchased house due to a faulty storm door lock. My initial appointment was for the following Monday, since I didn't want to pay extra for a Saturday visit. However, Joe Locke called and said he had the time to complete the job that day, but would still charge it as a weekday visit. What was to be a quick 10 min. appt turned into about a 2-hr job, as Joe accommodated my last-minute request to replace the locks for both front and back storm doors and house doors, thus saving me about $80 since I wouldn't have to make a second appt and incur another consultation fee. He also fixed a couple of deadbolt issues. He was very helpful and professional in answering my questions. I was pleased with the work done. And after all that, he still honored my Angie's List coupon!

This was for our church on Temperance rd. in Michigan. The lock on the door was broken. We could not lock the church up. The locksmith came out and replaced a spring, which had a broken wire. Works great. The lady who took our call was very polite & courteous. We called around 10:00 a.m. and she said she could have a locksmith out there by 4:00 p.m. that same day. Shortly after, she called back and said a locksmith was in the area, finished his job and could meet us at 1:15 p.m. He was prompt, courteous, professional but yet had a sense of humor especially dealing with 2 women. Mr. Locke installed 1 dead bolt and replaced the wrong deadbolt lock in another door. He arrived promptly, asked what I needed and went to work. He saved me money by suggesting I use an existing deadbolt that only needed cleaning instead of installing another one.

This company is family owned.! What a difference when the owner does the work. Yes, the owner. I inherited my mothers home. I Was at the house when she had her doors re-keyed and remembered how nice the guy was, fast and reasonable. I looked thru her old check book and found them! He was on time. Giving me a call just before he came out. Was very professional Did not waste time, was working constantly He was done in an hour or less. Re- keyed 9 door handles. and made 6 keys. I am not a very trust worthy person. When it comes to re-keying a house, ya tend to be a little leary. I am telling anyone who reads this, this is a A+A+ A+ company. I had three storage cabinets unlocked. I had three storage cabinets that had been locked when I moved to Toledo. The movers gave me the keys, but of course, I could not find them. After four months I finally decided to call a locksmith and found Locke's on Angie's list. My cabinets were opened within 45 minutes of my call. We purchased a new home that was a foreclosure. There was only a push button lock on the front door, and I wanted the locks in three other exterior doors changed and all locks keyed alike. I called and set an appointment a couple of days in advance. Approximately 15 minutes before the appointed time, I received a call that the locksmith was on his way. The worker worked on my lock and did an excellent job. He told me I didn't need a new lock, just a little adjustment. I appreciated his honesty. I would definitely recommend this company!

I called and was told a representative would be at my home in an hour, and he was right on time. I thought I needed a new lock, so I had purchased one and figured he'd install it. He looked at the lock and told me I didn't need a new lock, just an adjustment on the lock.

Replaced three lock tumblers with one key. Serviceman was professional, a couple minutes late, but overall the work was done very quickly and done well. I would highly recommend them, I used their West Toledo Office Dispatch.

The locksmith adjusted the door plate so that it would catch properly.

I talked to a person on the first call for service. She arranged for the locksmith to come right away as he was available between jobs. He was professional and explained what he was doing. He also made a recommendation about better securing another door that he noticed. He said to call for a visit at no charge if the adjustment he made doesn't solve the problem.

Re-keyed 3 doors so that 1 key unlocks all three doors.

My newly purchased house had different locks on each door and the previous owners only left us 1 key and its copy that actually did anything. There were two other doors to the outside that had locks but no keys to unlock them. I called Locke's and within an hour they were at my door and started re-keying the locks. Everything went smoothly and within 45 min I had three fully functioning (and now unlockable) door locks. I was pleased with the entire process.

We used Locke's Locksmith. They were out in May. We have an older front door from 1955 or so. We didn't have a key for the front door and the lock was real old and corroded. We wanted to have the lock replaced and all of our doors keyed to the same locks. He ordered the parts and called as soon as they came in. He was very punctual and professional. He was great.
