Ace Rental

I have just started looking at reviews of all companies that I intend to do business with.This company will not be on my list.Great attention to the customers needs is top priority.Just from these reviews I will be going elsewhere.

This is the worst place to rent from!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First of all, they don't deliver or pick up on a weekend! A PARTY SUPPLY COMPANY that doesn't pick up or deliver on a weekend, are you kidding me? They say they offer you a "weekend delivery" or "pick up" for a fee of $25, but then won't do it. I ordered an arch, tables, chairs, and tent for my wedding. They delievered all the supplies but the arch. When we finally got a hold of the delivery guy, he told us he would bring the arch within in the next 2 hours. He didn't show. Called again first thing in the morning, he made several excuses then said he would be there within the next 2 hours. He finally showed up several hours later with the arch which only gave us about 30 minutes to put all the decorations on it. This is an absolutely atrocious company! It's extremely disorganized and I truly regret having rented from them!!!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The owner is unprofessional, will not deliver an invoice when asked, will not put your order together correctly, and the owner blames the customer for any problems! Save yourself the headache and use a differant company! You will regret using their services!

NEVER RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!!!

When you approach a rental business, it's usually for a unique purpose and, chances are, you will not have dealt with them before and, chances are, you'll only need to rent your item one time. That's why you should read this review BEFORE you contact this rental company. DO NOT RENT FROM ACE RENTAL CENTER!!!



Why? The equipment is faulty and the staff is unprofessional, apparently untrained, lacking in competency and definitely indifferent as to the customer's satisfaction, let alone the value they offer them. We had a very bad experience renting a large piece of birthday party equipment from them---you know the thing that every kid loves to jump around on at an outside birthday party-a Fun Jump. We only wanted it to work for the 2 or 3 hours of the party and for kids to wear out before the fun jump did. Simple expectation, right? It didn't happen and the staff and, get this, even THE OWNER(!) could care less when we reported it to them.



Our Experience: Te Fun Jump repeatedly failed to keep air pressure and collapsed time and time again on top of children in it. On average, there were maybe 4 to 5 small kids inside at any time. Many of the kids and parents became disappointed and we became frustrated and even embarrassed every time it began to collapse on top of our guests. Two of the even Dad's had to stand next to it and hold their hands in the air supporting the weight of the thing just to let the kids enjoy it.



We had given each blower its own dedicated power circuit from our home electricity to ensure ample juice, and air pressure. (We were briefly advised during the quick delivery ("dump-off") by the delivery guys the day before, that "it takes a lot of power; we can't run anything else at the office when we plug it in")



We tried to call ACE several times during the day (but remarkably they're not open on Saturdays-nice schedule for a party/reception rental company.) There wasn't even a voicemail box we could leave a message on.



On Monday, we called for a small credit. The Owner ("Mrs. Francis") was cynical and discrediting of our complaints when we presented her our experience. We merely asked for a small discount since we had so much trouble. She opined that, since she (and they) haven't had problems with it, she was "gonna deal with the refund request! There won't be no refund!" After 20 minutes of letting her tell me why it "should have" worked and why I was wrong, I was blown away with her attitude. Fittingly, she hung up on me! Nice touch!



We're sorry we used them. We hope you'll consider yourself a better informed consumer with this simple advice: Stay away from this company, this particular equipment and don't have any expectations of customer service or satisfaction from them.

I USED ACE RENTAL CENTER WITH MY WEDDING AND THEY WERE SO GREAT THEY HELPED WITH EVERYTHING AND RELIEVED SO MUCH STRESS FROM MY WEDDING!!!! SINCE MY WEDDING MANY OF MY FRIENDS HAVE USED THEM AND THEY AS WELL LOVED THE SERVICE IF U WANT A GREAT WEDDING OR PARTY THIS IS THE COMPANY TO USE

i orderd tent tabels and chairs for my daughters wedding and everything was outstanding and i would recomend them to everyone

I was the photographer for a wedding recently where ACE failed to supply ANYTHING that the Bride and Groom had rented!!! The wedding was at a beach house so they rented tables and chairs for both the rehersal, wedding and reception. After numerous calls on the day of the rehersal and many, many promises by this company that they were "on the way" they NO showed....but the rehersal dinner still went on for 50 or so guests who all had to stand and eat. The morning of the wedding, ACE rental refused to answer any calls that were made to them so the bride called another local rental company in a panick and withing 3 hours the tables, chairs and linens had all be delivered. She didn't get the color linens she wanted originally but she was just happy to have tables and chairs finally. I would absolutely STAY AWAY from this company unless you want to have a ruined event! Terrible business practices!!!
