Overall

We buried my Grandma just a few days ago. The owner, Kevin J. Diabelko was disrespectful to the point of callous. He cracked jokes before the service. He told a family member that he could help him fix his tie, but he would have to lay down first so he could work on him. He placed a large spray of flowers on someone else's gravestone and started to rip apart the flowers to hand to people to place in her coffin. The original spray of flowers intended to be rested on her was never even placed on her. He was so concerned with another funeral coming in behind us that we were only at her grave site for ten minutes. Her coffin was so crooked she was wobbling when we gently touched the coffin to say goodbye. He kept shooing people on and away so the next family could come through. We never even saw her lowered into the ground. That will haunt me forever; her still being above ground while we were all driving away. It was shameful! These are not the memories I should have from that day and if he was any good at what he does, I would not even remember him personally.

After so many years in the business, he knows much better than the way he was that day. Seeing another review here from 2011 makes me think that perhaps he has always been this bad at his job. But how many people complain at such a vulnerable time in their lives. His handling of things makes him tantamount a thief, in my opinion, and I will never recommend him for anything but retirement. If he taught his boys how to do business like he does, then I hope they go out of business before they can do such harm to anyone else's finally memories of their most precious loved ones.

Watch out! I always thought that the Diabelko's (owner of Bradley's) were a class act when it came time to lay a loved one to rest, and when it was time to bury my father I thought of no one else to use. Everything started out great, Mr. Diabelko even seemed to show a soft side with everything that was going on with the family. He told me not to worry and he will take care of everything. To make a very long story short, he took advantage of my family, and pressured us into purchase items that were way over priced, and outside out budget. He said that 'this is what your dad would have wanted' and 'this is the more respectful way it should be done'. When we later saw the adjusted invoice (we were giving one originally at a much cheaper cost) we told he we could not afford that, and he more or less said too bad. Please watch out, and if you use the Diabelko's, watch their high pressure tactics, it's less painful to go to a used auto lot! - joseph
