Appointments are not required for general medicine but are highly recommended. Dental and Pediatric services are by appointment. Patients must register either on the day of service or before to be seen and have an established payment method for services chosen.

Smoking Cessation
Our counselor is trained to offer classes on smoking cessation and will work directly with your provider to help you reach your goal to quit smoking. Group classes are usually available when 4 or more people request help. The center can also offer information on how to stop smoking and your provider will be glad to help you to make the right choices.

Emergency Care
At Pasadena Health Center (PHC), we offer a full range of healthcare for children ages birth to college. From well-visits to urgent care, physicals and beyond â€“ your child(ren) will have the care they need as they grow and reach important developmental milestones along the way.
Flu Shots
The center has also provided flu shots for senior adult groups and this can be arranged in September before the flu season begins. We also have staff members who can speak at public events on a variety of topics.
Electrocardiogram
We also focus on cancer prevention through smoking cessation, mammography, colon screenings and pap smears. Our patients enjoy the convenience of an on-site lab, pharmacy, and imaging services. Some unique services offered by Pasadena Health Center are bone density testing, audiometer testing, and 12 lead EKG testing.

Having your first baby can be overwhelming. We want this experience to be the best for you. Our OB/GYN can provide you with pamphlets and the center has a series of videos that you can watch for free to help you as you prepare for your newborn. Ask your provider for more information.

Dr. Anna Ruiz AllisonÂ is our Internal Medicine, Endocrinologist and also serves as the Medical Director for Pasadena Health Center (PHC). She received her training in Puerto Rico and is originally from New York. Dr. Allison has completed a fellowship with MD Anderson hospital and has over 30 years of experience.

Dr. Allison has 31 years experience working as a doctor and 23 in Texas. Her specialty is Internal Medicine, with an emphasis on Endocrinology and Â Diabetes Management. She graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, San Juan Puerto Rico. She completed her fellowship in Internal Medicine in Puerto Rico as well. Â She has had research published in the Journal of Oncology. She speaks Spanish fluently and enjoys spending time with her patients and helping them with their medical needs.
