One of the leading providers of higher education in the United States, Park University has been operational for more than 100 years. The university has campuses in Parkville, Kansas City and Austin, Mo., and enrolls more than 10,000 undergraduate and graduate students annually. It offers a wide variety of activities and programs, such as leadership center, campus recreation, career services, career counseling, testing and disability services, international student solutions, student newspaper, residential programs, service learning center and student organizations. Park University offers several courses, including accounting, applied management, biochemistry, biophysics, computer engineering, corporate financial management, criminal justice, criminology, earth science, and economics. The university also offers majors in electrical engineering, English and creative writing, media communications, entrepreneurial studies, exercise and sports science, risk management, world history, and foreign languages and literature. Additionally, it provides certificate programs in marketing, vocational and instrumental music, philosophy, psychology, sociology, software engineering, computer applications, speech communication, teacher education, theology, and military science.
