Swedish Massage
Deep Tissue Massage
We believe in doing one thing, and doing it extremely well. We specialize in a clinical approach to therapeutic massage in a relaxing, therapeutic atmosphere. Your treatment plan will combine many elements of massage therapy to best treat you. Whether you are looking for really deep tissue massage, or just a great relaxing massage, Vive! is the place for you.
Sports Massage
An invigorating sports massage is a great way to make sure your muscles are properly stretched before and after the race. Vive! has several runners on our staff who know how to prepare you for the big run. Be careful though, we don't recommend any deep tissue work for 5 days prior to or after the race. Deep tissue massage could work against you then.
Prenatal Massage
Prenatal or pregnancy massage requires some caution to insure the well being of both mother and baby. The medical literature seems to have mixed opinions about the appropriateness of massage for expectant mothers. Out of an abundance of caution for our clients well being, we will not perform massage services for expectant mothers during their first trimester or the final 3 weeks of pregnancy.
Medical Massage
Vive! specializes in practicing a clinical approach to massage therapy. We are able help with many conditions, including neck pain, rotator cuff, back pain, sciatica, tendonitis, arthritis, and knee pain. Some of the techniques used include Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy, Cupping and Lymphatic Drainage, Medical Massage, PNF Stretching, Sports Massage Therapy, Prenatal massage, Swedish Massage and Reflexology. We will combine whatever techniques appropriate for your service.

Chris provides a lighter, relaxing yet therapeutic massage with the integration of various therapies that help her to address the “knots” and leaves you in a very relaxed state. Chris has been told that she massages with her soul and perhaps her cheerful smile and outgoing personality is felt through her sense of touch. Her background includes Myofascial release, Neuromuscular therapy, Cupping, Swedish, Lymphatic Drainage, PNF Stretching, Reflexology, Sports Massage and some Medical Massage and Trigger Point Therapy. Chris is also a massage instructor.
