Swedish Massage
Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don’t get too uncomfortable. Spinal Adjustments
Chiropractic Works of Park City is a full service office. We take pride in providing the most comprehensive and state of the art service. This is not your typical chiropractic office! Each visit with Dr. Sean Mann lasts a half hour and includes a full body head-to-toe adjustment. Expect a complete spinal adjustment, percussive therapy working on muscles and ligaments (a “massage” with every visit), and core muscle stretching with each session. If needed, extremity adjustments and cold laser therapy are also provided. Additional services provided by Chiropractic Works include custom orthotics, nutritional support, and more.

Shortly after my treatments began, I wanted to know more about my own body, how such problems arise and how the general public could benefit like I did. My chiropractor explained to me how the nervous system controls and regulates the ENTIRE body and ALL of its functions. He further explained to me that if there are any restrictions within the spinal column, that the immune system can and will likely perform at a less than optimal level. My personal issues of migraines and sinus problems were the result of multiple neck traumas, which put restrictive pressure on the very nerves that control and modulate the flow of information from my brain to those areas. I was intrigued, was it really that simple? My body wasn’t short on painkillers, as the medical doctors would have me believe, but instead I had multiple “subluxations” present within my cervical spine and back. My chiropractor further explained to me that drugs only mask the symptoms and do NOTHING to correct the underlying problem.

Acupressure
Trigger Point Therapy is a style of bodywork that focuses on stimulating and releasing “trigger points” in your body. Trigger points are tender areas of tension similar to acupressure points, except they occur in the belly of the muscle rather than along the energy pathways of the body. These “knots” are built up throughout a person’s life due to physical, mental, and/or emotional stress. During a session, focused pressure is applied through a variety of techniques order to release your trigger points. This process can be quite painful at times, yet the effects are lasting and profoundly transformative.
