Here is my letter to Goldwell!!

I am very upset with the service I received from a stylist you have listed for service in Panama City florida "reflections by sissy". I had been going to Kayla Vitko in Plano Texas and she is an amazing gold well stylist. She recommended I find a Goldwell specialist when I got here to Florida. I drove 50 miles because there were no Goldwell specialists in the Destin area. I went to Sissy and she seemed to know what she was talking about but did not have a clue what she was doing. My hair was 7nbg with highlights… I gave her the formula that my previous stylist used and she insisted that the new product you had "numay" or something like that would be better and richer color… I was pretty reluctant but she did convince me. She proceeded and put this color all over my head making my hair a dark brown with red undertones … I was mortified at that point and she said not to worry she would be putting heavy highlights in it! why did she not just do highlights and low lights with that color?? Then she put a cap on me and started pulling my hair thru these little holes and it hurt a lot. needless to say my hair came out orange and chunks all over… I paid her as I should and left there crying hysterical 50 miles back home!

The moral of this whole thing is as a Goldwell provider maybe you should reconsider who you list as professionals on your website as PROFESSIONALS. I had to pay another 200.00 to have it fixed and could only do a little to keep from getting damage. Oh also I told her I just wanted a trim and she insisted i needed my ends all over trimmed and now I have a bob in the middle of my hair that looks like a bad layer!!

I came into Reflections By Sissy needing a new look, a new me. They consulted with me giving me there opinion and several ideas of what would look good with my skin tone, and face shape. It was a beautiful salon and very relaxing. I recommend them highly. I walked out loving my cut and highlights! I felt confident in my new look! Thanks Nikki and Sissy.

I have had my hair highlighted and colored for years. I have long beautiful hair. I have lived in NY, Las Vegas and various other places and have been to many different stylists through the years. I have never paid so much money to have my hair highlighted through a cap. Anyone that gets highlights and has long hair knows this is not a correct manner in which to highlight long hair. To keep it short, beware of this salon, at a minimum I had dots of color on my head from them pulling it through the cap, my hair was quite literally falling out and melting in my fingers when I tried to run my hands through my hair. I am fairly talented naturally at maintaining my hair, so I don't worry too much if I get a bad cut, etc.. but when your hair is falling out, breaking off and disintegrating between your fingers from being over processed, I don't know anyone that can easily correct such a thing. My hair was so fried from this experience, I left in tears and they had the nerve to charge me !!!! 300.00... I was so incredibly upset and have never been charged so much or had such a negative outcome. For 10.00 I could have done an amazingly better job. Please steer clear. My husband called a couple of days later and requested our money back. I really should have refused to pay, but was feeling so shocked at the time, never having dealt with such an experience. I at least had enough sense not to tip them. They of course refused to refund our money, stating they were aware I was upset and I could come in for some conditioning treatments free of charge. I will NEVER step inside that salon again. The sad part was that it was actually the owner's daughter with the owner's assistance, that performed the service. So, unfortunately it was not some random employee. If you want to pay a lot just for the sake of it, and risk your hair being ruined for several months to a year or more, check them out. They'll pretend like they know what they are doing and charge you a real lot. Fancy salons don't always equate to cutting edge service and expertise... BEWARE... especially in Panama City, you are often better checking out the cheaper more ordinary salons to find the expertise you are desiring. Take it from someone who has plenty of experience as a hair care customer..
