Do not do business with this place! Took in a cell phone that worked perfectly but had a cracked screen on a Thursday. I was quoted $97.50 to fix it. I paid that day so they would order the screen(screen was only $10) and was told once the screen arrived I could bring in the phone and would get it back in a few hours. Well after dropping it off on Tuesday I get a call saying they ordered the wrong screen and that I couldn't get my phone back for three days. Told them I wanted my phone back since I couldn't be without a phone for three days since I have small children. I was then told that the LCD had been broken during disassembly so I couldn't get the phone back until that had been replaced. The employee told me it would be free of charge and they would over night the stuff and I'd have it back in one day. I said ok I can deal with that. The next day I go to check on the status and the owner tells me that I will not be getting the phone back for at least 3 days and I was being charged $78 dollars extra for the LCD. I refused to pay since I was told it would be free and since a few hour repair turned into a week repair. The owner became irate at this point and started yelling saying that they wouldn't charge for the LCD and I could get my phone Monday(its Friday today) and once I picked it up we were done. I told him I didn't trust him now and that in his anger he had exposed that the screen was only $10 and the labor was over $80. He said he couldn't give the phone back in its original condition since it no longer worked. I explained that this was like taking a car in for a windshield replacement and now it not running anymore because of the incompetence of the shop. I was told I can just get a prepaid phone from Walmart for now and get my phone back Monday. I now understand why you have to pay for the part and labor upfront since I was refused a refund and my phone back. Very rude and corrupt owner trying to cheat people. The employee was nice and hopefully will find a better employer. Will be filing a claim with the BBB asap. Hopefully when I get my phone back it will be in the same working order and not tampered with by a vindictive business owner.
