We have set aside emergency appointments every day for your patients who are in pain and need to be seen on the same day. We will make every effort to appoint Endodontic emergency cases within 24 hours. Please call us as early in the day as possible so that we can allocate that emergency appointment to your patient. Even if we cannot perform the complete root canal, we can usually see the patient for an emergency procedure to relieve them from pain. If you would like to institue pain management protocols prior to the patient’s appointment, such as long lasting local anesthetic, a pulpotomy, oral analgesic, or antibiotic therapy, we can help you decide which protocol will make your patient most comfortable until treatment can be provided.
Root Canal Treatment
Javidan Endodontics offers oral conscious sedation for your endodontic procedure. Our doctors are licensed by the State of California to administer oral conscious sedation for any endodontic procedure. Oral conscious sedation can help reduce any anxiety you may have concerning dental procedures. In addition, since some procedures can last up to two hours, oral conscious sedation can help relax your jaw muscles, which can minimize the amount of soreness you might experience after your procedure.
Apicoectomy
We see patients for consults to diagnose endodontic pain, and to treat it with a root canal treatment, a non-surgical root canal retreatment, or apicoectomy. Your general dentist will have specified the most probable treatment necessary on your referral form. The first appointment will consist of a consult, and we can perform the root canal for you on the same day if needed. If a retreatment or apicoectomy is necessary we would prefer to have a consult done separately to plan for the best treatment option.

Dr. Javidan received her dental degree from Northwestern University Dental School in 1998. She then served in the National Health Service Corps at the Cherry Street Dental Clinic in Grand Rapids, Michigan, for two years, where she emphasized on pedodontic dentistry and oral surgery patient care. During this time Dr. Javidan was active in the community offering dental screenings to the local grade schools and presentations on the high school level.

She then joined a private practice, Dental Care Partners in Cleveland, Ohio, offering a wide array of general dental services, emphasizing on endodontics and cosmetic dentistry. During her private practice she attended classical literature and current literature classes on a volunteer basis at Case Western University, Endodontics department.
