Overall

Straight to the point, Dr. Salomon totally ripped me off for $8,800. I was counting on him to give me an honest evaluation on implants for an over-denture. I already had a full denture connected to 2 teeth so didn’t need to take the risk of implants but he guaranteed me they would be way better. He showed me some models of dentures in his office promising that’s what I would be getting with the implants. I trusted him to be honest with me and what a mistake that was. I am still in disbelief that he would do this to me since we have known each other for a few years. Now I have 4 implants and no denture that connects to them because the implants were poorly placed. I have confronted Dr. Salomon about this and of course he denies it. While talking about my situation, he told me I “was stuck between a rock and a hard place.” That was probably the only honest thing he said to me and it’s due to his lousy dental work. I plan on taking this case to the Dental Board. Not only was the surgery a fail, it was unnecessary and unethical.

I strongly recommend Dr Robert Bass ... As a first time patient, I was a little weary of a new dentist - I've had intense dental work in the past, so my fear of the dentist is pretty healthy. He was extremely understanding, kind and thorough. He was a very calm practitioner and made sure that since I was nervous, he explained everything before he proceeded and asked many times any questions. Shockingly I didn't feel any pain! I was truly stunned.

They sent me home with a bag of meds for pain which I didn't need. They also gave me a cold bottle Gatorade which I did need.
The office staff is also super nice, very efficient and I left feeling like I had really been taken care of. I stand behind the 5 star rating.

Dr Salamone did a good job ext...

Dr Salamone did a good job extracting my teenage son's impacted tooth so he could put an implant in. However, he forgot to advise for an inexpensive space maintainer to be used so that the other teeth didn't move and close the gap while we were waiting the required 6 months for the bone graft to heal.( I guess I was supposed to know that?) Now he says that there is not enough room for the implant and my son will have to wear braces for a year at a cost of $ 3000.00 to re-open the space and he takes no responsibility and didn't return either of my calls. Also paid for a $150.00 x ray I still havent recieved. Since I don't have an extra $3000.00 to fix his mistake (took a long time to save the money for the implant surgery), my poor son has to walk around without a visible tooth and I feel terrible, he is a great kid and tries to tell me that it is O.K., but I know he is embarrassed. I trusted Dr. Salamone with my son's treatment, and now I am stuck half finished and don't know what to do.
