California Nursing & Rehabilitation Center of Palm Springs

This facility has rude CNAs, I had the Receptionist help out. She really went above and beyond for mother I believe her name was Misty. Overall it's an okay place, people are helpful if you can reach them and it's a clean facility as well.

Caring people, great staff great nurses

This is not a good facility for someone with Alzheimers or Dementia. My husband was put in this place to recover from pneumonia and UTI. I had to stay 12 hours a days to keep him safe. I had to be there to feed him and change him when he had accidents. The CNAs and Nurses were very nice and seemed caring but they are spread so thin that they can't be there for you. Yes, they have bed alarms but they go off all day and no one goes to check on the patient. If you are of sound mind and can care for yourself, this place is ok. I feared for my husband's life when I left. He pulled his IV's out two times and bled all over the floor which took two days to clean up. Yes, a weekend but no excuse. My husband's roommate was terrific in helping as much as he could to keep my husband safe when I wasn't there. I complained a lot and there isn't much you can. The Dr. there won't spend any time with you and when I told him a medicine was making my husband ill, it took 12 hours to get something to make him feel better.
