Hire her 5 years ago for Chapter13 still this day 10/2013 I am worst off case was dismissed she did not meet deadlines then gave her the benefit of doubt and paid her again for to start chapter 13 over she could not come to an agreement with the trustee so her resolution was to convert to a chapter 7 on her advice gave up out boat well we lost it due to her misrepresentation which the court advise me of my rights she did not meet deadlines no return calls does not communicate excuse after excuse illness emergency after emergency snd now I am stuck gave her all the money I had with absolutely nothing was done for me I wish I knew about her reviews please save herself the hassle there are many other lawyers in Palm harbor

After I paid in full, my Bankruptcy was not filed correctly, costing me grief and money! Went to the office several times during business hours and no one was there! She constantly has family emergencies or migraines. When I called the office I got her recorder most of the time! No one returns calls. She was a no-show at my court hearing. Complete incompetence! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT use Ms. Armstrong.

- she'll lose your case due to inaction



I don't need to go into a million details - everybody says the same things about her. Just add me to the list. Getting ignored by her lost me my re-fi and I am livid.



If you hire her after reading all the bad reviews (haven't seen a good one) then you certainly deserve what you get!

I hired Ms. Armstrong to handle a Chapter 7 bankruptcy for me in 2007. I immediately started getting the run around when calling the office but gave the benefit of the doubt as I had paid her in full. When I realized that she had pushed me into a Chapter 13 because of her not filing the bankruptcy in a timely fashion, I fired her as my attorney. She then called and assured me she would take care of me and we would have to wait until my income dropped in the future and then would file right away. For the next couple of years, my income did not drop. In 2009, I requested we file but she stated that she did not want to file because I was trying to work on a home modification loan and that the bank wouldn't work with me. So that brings us to 2011 when my bank account was garnished due to a creditor that had filed all the proper paperwork which was never responded to by Ms. Armstrong, And they are now going to start garnishing my wages at work. Ms. Armstrong then stated that because "I" had waited so long to file, I would need to repay her as she would have to start the bankruptcy all over again. I have since hired another attorney that informed me of the laws and disputed almost everything I had been told by Ms. Armstrong. I also found out that I have a judgment against my house because Ms. Armstrong filed a motion for extension and never followed up, leaving a judgment against me. Today is December 14, 2011 and I am now in the process of filing a bankruptcy which should have been taken care of 4 1/2 years ago. I would not recommend Ms. Armstrong in any fashion. We reviewed Angela last June as she was handling a chapter 13 case for us. After 3 months of no response, return phone calls, always sick, or a family emergency, I placed a review here. She then finally returned our phone calls said she didnt appreciate the review and dropped our case after we paid $1800, not just a retainer, so I resended the review and she still never did a thing about our case. We retained her in March of last year and still have not recieved an invoice of what our $1800 paid for. We have no protection, no jobs (my career requires good credit) and no more money to hire another attorney. We feel like we were taken advantage of. Now she has done the same thing to someone else see Avvo review. (now erased and new good reviews added) Now April of the following year and after several requests have been given no invoice for what our $1800 was used for. We feel that she may still yet try to charge us even more or sue us in some kind of retaliation.
