Shades Above (PD)

We had this business restring a roman shade. During the initial phone call I wanted an estimate to give me the option of purchasing a new shade or having them restring the shade. The woman I spoke with said it would be more economical to re-string the shade at about $40 to $45 dollars. On that, we took the shade to their business. It was to be ready and delivered to us the following Tuesday. Tuesday afternoon they hadn't shown up so we called. The shade was not ready. The following Monday we went in to pick up the shade and the woman didn't know anything about the shade order and she would have to look into it. About 4:00 P she called for someone to pick up the shade. They charged $100! Not close to $40 or $45 as she said. They didn't even bother to call us to let us know the it was going to be "labor intensive". What does that mean...re-stringing a blind. Wouldn't she know that to begin with? I would never recommend this business. They are disorganized and not customer friendly.
