Planet Fitness

This planet fitness told my wife for the membership they would not bill a credit card but accepted her first payment via credit card. They demanded a bank account which my wife does not have. On her second visit they told her if she did not add a bank account they would cancel her membership. She tried returning for a 3rd visit they told her, that her membership was canceled. My wife decided she didn't care for the gym that much anyway, and went to stay fit. Fast forward 5 months later. I am looking at the credit card she used to pay for planet fitness which had been put away and notice 6 months worth of billing and membership renewal fees. So whats the deal? her membership was canceled but your billing us for membership?

Short of classes and aerobics, this is the best gym around.

Nice facility but avoid signing a contract. They'll tell you it's been cancelled but then keep deducting from your account. Combine this with what happened at the Palm Bay Rd facility and this is not a company to be trusted. If you really want to join, pay cash each month and don't let them have access to your bank account information.

The rules there are laughable.. No grunting or slamming the weights or an embarrassing alarm will sound? Are we still in pre school? Or better yet, lab rats.. Sounds like an insecure person created this gym. No judgement Zone, that is all they do is JUDGE EVERYONE. Also, I signed up for the gym because it close to my house and they had a awesome special. One dollar down and 10 a month. Even though they don't have classes, they have a 30 minute circuit. Sounds good so far....well they forgot to tell me about the ridiculous rules they have in this gym. First, you cant have any bags on the floor... ok I understand for caution reason and I let it go. Then the other day I go work out they said you can't wear hair scarfs but you can wear a baseball cap to work out. WTF do I look like a dude and why would I wear a baseball cap to the gym, I am a women and we wear hair scarfs to the gym so it wont mess up our hair. I can't believe how ridiculous this gym is. Next they will tell us we can't walk around with water bottles. I don't care that it is 10 a month, it is a business that suppose to accomodate their customers not vice versa . I plan on cancelling and going to a gym that has better services.

I had to go out of town for new job training for two months and they refused to let me put my membership on hold while I wasn't using it. And the extra yearly fees are stupid. Plus they sold my name and address to some mail marketing company (Spectrum), so now I am on junk mail lists. Also, VERY RUDE STAFF!!!!!ESPESIALLY YOUNG GIRLS AT A FRONT DESK!!!!!

Planet fitness is a great gym with great machines and staff. I love working out there. Also the italian guy at the counter in the morning is freaking HOT!!

AWESOME facility! Hands down the best gym in brevard. I thought pro-health was amazing until I joined the planet fitness in palm bay. Its VERY VERY VERY clean, great equipment, great policies and great staff and management. Corporate headquaters should be proud of this club.

Staff is very Rude, Arrogant and very controlling:and we wonder why our country is in such a mess. Driving home, I actually cried thinking how controlling, rude the staff at this gym was to me today~zero helpfulness~, zero problem solving skills, then the thought came to mind we cant even treat our own kind with compassion and helpfulness. How sad for those people, with that mindset, I am certain they will not do well in business or at least not for long.Honestly Palm Bay's Planet Fitness in my opinion doesn't even deserve (1) star. I will drive the extra few minutes to go workout in Melbourne on Sarno, Rd. I tried to find a phone number or email to cooperate to file a complaint (privately) but could not find the info anywhere so my next plan of action was to write a review..
