Treatment begins with a thorough oral exam and treatment plan. Your dental restoration will include your desires, proven dental techniques, and materials to give you that smile you’ve longed for, while restoring optimal oral health. These options may include the cosmetic reshaping of teeth, bonding, tooth-colored fillings, veneers, porcelain crowns and bridges, partials, and dental implants.
X-rays
Oral Cancer Screening
Our dental services begin with complete oral health examinations, including digital x-rays and teeth cleanings. We include an oral cancer screening, diet and nutritional counseling, an analysis of your occlusion (bite), and in-home dental health care. We provide advice on supplemental oral hygiene aids (for example electric toothbrushes, Waterpiks, mouthwashes, toothpaste, etc). We do this all to make sure that we treat your oral health in a comprehensive way.
Your dentist can help identify any potential problems early on and recommend treatments to prevent them from getting worse. Brushing and flossing regularly, visiting your dentist for regular checkups and teeth cleaning, and eating a healthy diet can keep your mouth healthy and prevent oral health issues before they arise.
Dental Sealants
Continuing with our desire to be as prevention-oriented as possible, we also offer dental sealants to prevent tooth decay, as well as dental appliances for patients who snore, grind or clench their teeth, suffer from headaches or joint pain or are involved in contact sports. Protect your smile with preventive dental care!
With the ever-increasing toxic burden our bodies face from foods, medications, and the environment, you should feel safe knowing your dental restorations will not harm your health. Amalgams can be removed carefully and safely. We use a rubber dam and high-velocity suction when removing amalgam fillings to minimize the risk to your health. Our office is also equipped with
Resin Composite
Decayed or broken teeth will be restored using BPA-free composite resin. It is a strong dental restorative material that is safe and does not crack teeth like amalgams do. It is aesthetic and because it is bonded to the tooth, it seals the tooth better than amalgam ever could. And, the best news is that it is mercury-free.
Veneers
An overlay of porcelain, or veneer, is a beautiful way to correct misalignment of teeth or an unaesthetic tooth shape or color in a gentle, conservative way. Porcelain veneers are custom-made shells that are bonded to the front of teeth. Veneers are routinely used to fix...
Crowns
Dental porcelain crowns are tooth-shaped caps that are placed over a prepared tooth, restoring its shape, size, and strength. No longer do patients have to settle with the unsightly black line or graying of the gum around a crown. Porcelain avoids the use of corrosive non-precious metals that can cause this. If your particular situation requires the use of a metal base for your porcelain crown, know that we use only the highest quality precious metals when making your crown.
Bridges
Tooth loss does not only cause difficulty chewing, but it also significantly affects your self-confidence. The two most common treatments for missing teeth that your dentist will recommend to you are dental bridges and dental implants. While both options effectively address the issue of missing teeth, they are technically very different. In order to make the best decision for your...
Dental Bonding
There is little preparation needed for dental bonding. Anesthesia may not even be necessary. We start by selecting a resin color that closely matches the color of the tooth being bonded. Next, the surface of the tooth will be roughened and we will apply a conditioning liquid, which helps the bonding material adhere to the tooth. The resin is applied, molded and then smoothed to the desired, natural shape. A light is then used to harden the resin. The entire process takes about 30 to 60 minutes to complete, per tooth.

Dental implants are becoming increasingly popular among people with missing teeth. Dental implants are replacement tooth roots, providing a solid, stable foundation for fixed or removable teeth, made to match your natural teeth. These are made to fuse with bone, becoming permanent. Implants, by far, are the most natural way to replace missing teeth and achieve the support needed for any cosmetic dental work.

Don’t be misled by the clever marketing tactics of over-the-counter whitening agents. While these can be effective in a younger patient with minimally discolored teeth, these systems are designed to gently strip away the stains and discolorations, which, in turn, dull teeth and make your smile less than beautiful. Ultimate Smile Design offers whitening systems that safely and effectively whiten your teeth and enhance your beautiful smile.
