General Info: Johnson County Middle School offers a variety of educational and enrichment programs for students in grades seven and eight. The school s curriculum includes mathematics, science and technology, language arts, English, health education, social studies, arts and crafts, music, and physical education. It also offers various sport programs, including basketball, cheerleading, swimming, football, and athletics. Its Family Resource and Youth Services Center offers a wide variety of programs and services that focus on employment counseling, training and placement, health and social services, summer and part-time job development, substance abuse counseling, and family crisis and mental health counseling. Located in Paintsville, Ky., Johnson County Middle School serves the educational needs of more than 550 students. The school is a part of the Johnson County Schools.
