boarded my cat for 10 days,couldn't be more pleased.the kennals/cages are large,clean and aside the reception area.boarding fee can't be beat

We have been taking our dogs to Riversedge for many years. I wouldn't take them anywhere else. Everyone there is great and the dogs are always happy to see them. They always do a good job with the grooming and are reasonably priced. We've also boarded with them and the dogs have always been well taken care of.

I really appreciate the care, the love and the personal committment that owners and staff show with regards to boarding my two older dogs. Always willing to fit my dogs in last minute, following directions and med schedules and getting a bit of exercise for my old great dane, this kennel has become my go-to kennel. I boarded on a regular basis during the rebuilding of my home after last septembers flood. They were there for me and my dogs when I needed it most. This is the place that I take my dogs.....and my dogs love the kennel...they run right in and look for familiar sniffs! Kathy nichols-newell

Riveredge Kennel has some of the most dedicated and honest people working there that you'll find. They are also the least expensive kennel within 200 miles of this area. They offer a no frills boarding experience for those that are frugal and have excellent grooming facilities on-site for those that want those services. To the person from Texas who gave this business a single star I'll ask this... Did you ask to tour the facilities prior to boarding your animals? Did you book ahead of time or were you graciously granted a spot when you called at the last minute? Did you shop around and settle on the least expensive kennel anywhere? Have you *ever* boarded your animals before and what did you pay? Had you done a tour you could have seen that your animals may need a bath when picked up and asked the staff there to bath and groom your pets before a long ride back to Texas. You would have been charged a tiny amount of money and been pleased.



Poor planning and expectations based on thin air on your part doesn't make for a bad business. For anyone looking for a reasonably priced kennel in this area, please visit Riveredge and ask for a tour. You'll meet some caring people who run a great business!

We are from Texas and was visiting my husband who has been working in PA for a while. We needed a place to keep our 2 dogs while we went to DC for the 4th of July. I hated having to board them so far from home, but we didn't have a choice. When I went to pick them up after we got back they were so nasty and stunk like urine so badly we had to ride home with the windows down. Both of my dogs are kennel trained and have never had an accident in their crates. My little one, who has never been kenneled before, was totally traumatized and took her a week to get back to her normal self. This place was cheaper than all of the rest, but all of the other places were full, so I had no choice but to go with this place. I guess you get what you pay for. I was so totally upset, our dogs are like children to us and when I we have no choice but to kennel them, I expect them to be treated good. If ;you need someone to just throw food and water to your beloveds I guess this place will work, but if you want them cared for don't go here.
