South Ridge Car Wash & Detail

I used to love this far wash but my trip today ruined all of that. I was exciting the dryer and felt a strange bump to the left side of my car (not the usual push to get out of the dryer). I pulled into the vaacuum area and there was a HUGE scratch in the finish of my rear left wheel. I went to the office and let the manager know... She brushed it off like it was nothing and claimed that it was impossible for that to happen in the car wash. Now my $10 car wash has turned into a $300 repair.

When you go to the car wash and their equipment damages your car be aware that they will not return your calls. The claim form was given but then we were told that they have a list of what they are not responsible for as you enter the Carwash. Note they receive zero stars from us. Small Claims next step...

I was new in town trying to find a place to take my Suv without the surcharge luckily this was my first stop. I was surprised how well my black Tahoe came out its very hard to except any car to get the back of these vehicles very good and being black dose not help not trust me It looked really good when it came out witch was quite surprising I even praised them for a job well done. At that time that's when I stumbled upon their on site detailing shop now this was the diamond in the rough I have a classic 1971 mustang I was needing a good interior and exterior cleaning it had been setting in storage for a few years. I wasn't sure what to expect but after the wash job I decided to give it a shot. They spent 5 hrs on it and it was like brand new when I picked it up job well done I am truley amazed!!!

Two days ago I decided to get my car wash here on a whim - I typically use another place. Half way through the $7 wash my front right tire began to come out of the rut it was in. I had done everything correctly - putting the car in neutral, not touching the steering wheel. It shut down the whole car wash. A minute later an employee came and told me to turn my wheel to get the car back in the rut. So I did and I rolled on through without them turning the car wash back on. The car looked clean enough and I let it dry in the sun since it didn't get air dried. I was on my lunch break and didn't have time to discuss with the manager what had gone wrong. A few days later I noticed that my car had a lot of soap residue all over it. I guess my car didn't make it to the rinse section in the wash. So I went back to the car wash, told them my story and asked to go back through the wash for free. The employee, who I assumed was the manager at the time, laughed at me and said that it was two days ago. Nonetheless there was still soap residue on my car. The manager gave me an attitude and said he'd go get the owner who happened to be there at the time. The owner didn't come out; the manager just told me the same thing he had said earlier. I was not happy that I'd have to pay another $7 to get the soap off of my car. I told him I wasn't coming back and he told me that they had plenty of business without me.

I bought a very DIRTY used car. It looks brand new now. (I think they might have used a tooth brush to clean the hard spots). If you are looking to have your vehicle wash or detail South Ridge Car Wash & Detail Shop is the place. Thanks for the great service.

I have used many of these express washes in the kansas city, Overland Park area. I must say for the money this was the best wash I have ever had!!! They also have a detail shop that my sister has used in wich she was very pleased...
