We just closed on a 2009 4460. I have to say that Kyle and EVERYONE ELSE at Kelly's Port is fantastic at what they do. They are simply the best of the best.

We have pretty high standards and have dealt with several marinas and boat sales places. We have had really good service from some and poor service from others, but Kelly's Port really does a fantastic job of making sure you are not just satisfied, but actually happy.

Kyle Kelly was extremely patient with us. I am one of those "millions of questions" kind of customers. Did not even phase him. He answered everything and was on top of everything. And he was completely honest, which is very refreshing today, especially when buying something used. He even fessed up to breaking something on our boat himself and fixed it. The one time I though "uh-oh" was when he said that our boat had two other buyers looking to make offers. I thought is was the same old same old that I have heard from countless other sales people. Then, I am not kidding, I actually MET the two others after we closed on our boat! They were very disappointed they did not get it. Kyle was true to his word. Really great guy and helped us negotiate a good deal. I would send any family member I had to him.

The service folks have been great too. They communicate on everything and really develop a good relationship with you.

You cannot go wrong with Kelly's Port. They are simply in a league of their own.

My husband and I bought a 2013 Bennington pontoon and have been blown away by the service and professionalism we have found at Kelly's Port. We've had lake houses at the Lake of the Ozarks for years, and often the service industry has been questionable, whether buying a boat or general construction, so we were understandably cautious. From the owner, Randy Kelly and his son, Kyle, to the sales and service people -- it has been a true pleasure to deal with each and every one. Both our initial salesman, Mark, from the Kelly's showroom and Paul, the salesman who sold and orientated us to the boat were two of the nicest, most accommodating, down-to-earth, real, and knowledgeable people with whom we have had the pleasure to work, and we would highly recommend either of them and Kelly's Port to anyone looking to buy/service a boat. An absolutely WONDERFUL experience!

Have not bought a boat from them but had them do financing on 2. Nothing but pleasant experience. I own a local dock company and use the boat launch 3-4 times per year. They never charge me and are always very polite even though they are extremely busy.

On 6/14/13 my wife and I purchased a 2005 Four Winns boat and matching trailer from Kelly's port. The purchase contract clearly states that we have a 30 day major mechanical warranty. On 6/20 we noticed the trailer was leaking hydraulic fluid. We returned the trailer to Kelly's Port on 6/21 where they determined the master cylinder needed replaced. We returned 6/28 to pick up the repaired trailer and were informed that it would be $500 for the repair. I spoke with the owner, Randy Kelly, who informed me that the trailer wasn't covered in the warranty. At no time prior to this were we ever informed that the trailer would not be covered under warranty, either verbally or in writing. We boated for the day and returned to get the trailer and leave. At that time we were informed that Kelly's Port would cover half of the repair, leaving us with a $245.57 bill. My wife and I had the contract in our hands at this time and tried to discuss the warranty issue with Randy Kelly, as we believe the repair should be covered under the 30 day major mechanical warranty. On the purchase contract the trailer is clearly listed along with the boat and no exceptions are made. He explained to us that they don't typically sell trailers with their boats...maybe only "1 out of every 15" boats that they sell in an effort to explain why he was refusing to cover the repair. We fail to understand how that is our problem or what that has to do with the warranty. He also stated that even if the trailer were covered under the warranty a ($500) master cylinder wouldn't be considered a major mechanical issue. We find that hard to understand as well. On top of all this, when attempting to rectify this situation, Randy was continually disrespectful and flat out rude to my wife, at one point even angrily saying twice to her "why you gotta be like that?!" when she mentioned for a 2nd time that the attorney general might be interested in their deceptive business practices. Seeing the futility of further talk we paid and left. Rude and, in our opinion, dishonest. They also incorrectly, and unsafely, trailered our boat when removing it from the water

Certified boat had bad blow-by...

Certified boat had bad blow-by hoses causing intake gasket failure. I purchased a certified used 1996 Chapparal 2550SX boat from Kelly's Port on 4/7/12. The blow-by hoses that were installed on the boat had caused the intake gasket to fail and which caused a massive oil leak. I had another marina service the boat on 7/9/12 in which they identified the malfunctioning gasket and incorrect blow-by hoses and repaired for $400. Kelly's Port certification states that all hoses, engine compression, outdrive, electrical systems have been thoroughly inspected and cleared "certification." I contacted Randy Kelly (owner) stating the issue via email and had asked for reimbursement for the cost I had incurred and he declined stating that it was after the 30 day warranty under the terms of sale. My point that I had expressed to Randy Kelly was that they had certified the boat and the hoses had been inspected and they should've replaced them as well as the gasket prior to the sale. However, Randy Kelly had stated that this issue is outside the terms of the warranty and that Kelly's Port was not in the position to give me a "blank check" on a 16 year old boat. When I had asked Randy Kelly what the certification was actually doing he stated that in effect they were only certifying the engine based on it's compression tests and condition of the outdrive. I had explained that this is misleading since the certification is to ensure to buyers that all systems had met a certain level/standard by experienced boat mechanics and his tactics are misleading. Randy Kelly as he has flat out refused to offer any type of compensation based on the fact that he considers this a warranty issue whereas I consider this to be a certification issue.

Best Service Ever!

Bought the first Lake home and didn't know who to speak with down there (so many to choose from!). Spoke with the folks at Kelly's, had a chance to meet the owner, Randy, and have been sold ever since. Couldn't be any happier with their level of professionalism and can-do-attitude.
