My youngest daughter goes too school here she is currently in the Infant room and my oldest daughter is in VPK. I love this school because the teachers are like family too each other and they treat the children as if they are family as well. I enjoy hearing everything my oldest has learned throughout the day and I often hear her teaching those things she learned too her sister pretending too be her teacher lol. Great school I would recommend it too anyone.

I'm so glad we made the decision 3 years ago to send our children to TCA. The staff and administration are the most caring individuals who truly value each and every family. The facility is clean and my children love the school and their teachers and friends. The other families are so kind and we have loved getting to know all of them! My children have grown emotionally and socially so much since starting at TCA and are thriving now thanks to the wonderful care they have received.

My family has trusted TCA with our children since 2007. We LOVE TCA and adore the fun, creative atmosphere and christian learning. My children come home well fed and rested and clean. They share stories of chapel and of learning about God and have learned so much year over year! My newly 4 year old can even read. You will not find a more intimate environment in downtown Orlando. The teachers are like family!!

My son attended TCA for almost 1 year. A month shy of his 2nd birthday I went to pick my son up from daycare and much to my surprise, he had wandered away from the school and was picked up by strangers as he was about to walk out into traffic on South street. The kind strangers were waiting for the police when I arrived and found him with them. The teachers involved and that were supposed to be watching my son never even picked up the phone to call the police, myself or my husband to report my son missing, even though they were aware that he was missing and was no longer in their facilities. The first phone call from the school came hours later at which point they were asking to see what time the first call from the strangers came in (trying to build a timeline to cover themselves). After this incident police started investigating the "teacher" directly responsible for my sons care that day and found many pictures of her doing drugs and many comments in regards to how she would care for the children (ie napping when they nap). What was a nightmare for myself and my family, was totally downplayed in a memo given to all the parents of the school stating that a child had gotten out but was not harmed, this situation was much more in-depth and extreme and the information given to the parents was very misleading. This facility is poorly managed and clearly does not run background checks on its staff. After meeting with DCF regarding this incident and being educated on what to look for in a school for my son, or for any child, it was more than obvious that this "school" was not even fit to send my dog to.

It is a very clean school with a happy children!

My son has been attending TCA since Dec 2012. I have seen none of what the previous reviewer said. The director has set hours and she has never brought a dog to school. I don't think she owns a dog. My son has fallen on the playground like toddlers do and they have always written out a report. If children are aggressive they are redirected and sat aside for a minute, not left in a high chair. I suspect the other review is an employee of another center because I am protective and have not seen anything and I go unannounced at times to pick up my son. My experience has been that my son love the teacher and teachers asst. He hugs them and kisses them and loves them which is exactly what I looked for in a school. He loves the arts and crafts and even though he's young he gets excited and points and shows me what he made when I pick him up. The other parents are from all walks of life and are all very friendly and involved with the school. The school from the outside may not rival newer schools but the love and attention the children receive are far above other schools I have observed when I was searching for a preschool.
