My daughter is enrolled in classes, they are focused like a laser on balancing just the right amount of correction with encouragement. We were also enrolled in there camp this spring break and it was great. Will definitely be enrolling in the summer camp.

Went to a three year old birthday party at reflex today. I have no experience with the classes offered but I would never recommend you holding your child's party here. One staff member was really sweet and worked well with the kids, but another staff member was completely rude and had no idea how to work with kids. She spoke to the parents as if this was some type of gymnastic competition and we just ran on the floor to high five the kids. My three year old son was nervous of the surroundings and wanted his mom to stand with him as he waited on line to run through the fun house. She told my wife to get off the floor because there was not enough room. Mind you the facility is 9000 square feet and there was a total of 30 people in the facility with half of them being three year olds. Then at cake time the employee with poor customer service skills asked the parents to raise there hands if you wanted cake. I rose my hand and walked over and waited, I then asked nicely may I please have a slice of cake. She told me " hold up that I didn't raise my hand". Mind you she was doing absolutely nothing since the parents of the birthday girl were doing most of the serving. Most of the parents just started to deal with the nice employee. I wish I got the nice employees name but she was a young blond women that actually looked like a gymnast. The mean women was older and has no business working with kids or people.

In every single gym we have ever stepped foot in, a drop notice is required. Period, end of story.
From:
A very happy Reflex parent (I have no idea who the drop notice person is, but, well, how do you say it....DUH!)

I took my daughter for a trial recently and I signed her right up. The coaches seem very technical and they seem to know how to teach almost any skill. One of the other reviewers just doesn't seem to understand that this sort of a sport is a commitment.

My son goes to this gym and he has a blast, the coaches really work with him even though he may not be the most talented child in the world. They are really helping to develop his strength and flexibility as well has his confidence.

My son has been a member of this gym for over a year now, even though he has had a great time and developed quite abit as an athlete he has eventually moved onto soccer.
The instructors are very proficent, they really keep the kids moving and on task.

I took my daughter into Reflex Gymnastics for a trial lesson, the coaches seem to be really technical in their knowledge. Whats more my coach was willing to sit down with me and talk about all the different types of exercises my child can do outside of the gym to stay safe.

When our daughter decided to withdraw from her class, my wife informed both the coach and front desk staff that we would not be returning for the upcoming month. Over a month 1/2 later we recieved a notice saying that because we had not formally filled out a "Drop Notice", we were accountable for the missed month along with another subsequent month's charges.
My wife had communicated our intentions clearly. I would suggest that taking advantage of clients due to a technicality of paperwork will not outweigh the longterm cost of bad word of mouth.
The customer in question failed to fill out the proper notification and was unhappy that we did not break the rules just for them. The "verbal notification" was never received. While I would not resort to calling someone untruthful, I will say this is the precise reason we have a "written drop notice". The notice keeps these sorts of situations, misunderstandings from occuring This notice helps to make sure that the classes have the proper ratio and that we can offer a state of the art service. This notice is not a technicality, it is absolutly necessary and we do not use a double standard in applying our policies. We are not worried about our word of mouth, this customers demand was well outside of our policies that they signed. The policy they called a technicality is listed in large type in bold just above the signature line. We really couldn't do more to help them understand our policies. We respond to any customer service issue with the same concern as shown here. We simply do not "take advantage of our clients". The family in question actually took advantage of us by forcing us to offer a class for a month they did not pay for.
