pep boys 1522

I had a nail in tire and the staff exceptional ! Squeezed me in fixed my tire no fuss.
I'm grateful and thankful for their service.

I have had a direct conversation with Art Coles the Service Manager while my vehicle was on the lift for an oil change and tire rotation. I was informed that the tire rotation they had performed knocked off all of my wheel weights and although i brought my vehical to them with balanced wheels if i intended on leaving with balanced wheels i would have to pay them to balance them. Keep in mind that they are only now unbalanced because of their mistake and now i am expected to pay for it. I called the Pep Boys customer service line and filed a formal complaint when I explained to Art the Manager he threatened my job and let me know he would be contacting MY employer to let them know what type of person I am. All I wanted was some fair service and if there was going to be any complications a courtesy call ahead of time to let me make a decison to move forward or not. NOT to be told unless i paid for their mistake that i would be riding out in an unsafe vehicle. I would highly recommend servicing your vehicle elsewhere and would never reccomend this store to anyone.

We took our car in to have the AC checked. The air was blowing warm, I could tell that the compressor was still kicking in so I was just hoping for a small leak or a recharge. We took it it pep boys because we live in waterford. When we get the estimate back they want over $2175. I tell them that is to high and they offer to drop it down to $2000. That was my sign to take it somewhere else. After asking around I found a nice small shop off Forsyth road. After the mechanic took 45 minutes to figure out what the issue is he recharged it and it had been running great for over a month. He said that everything else was fine. Wow pep boys tried to rip us off for over $2000. Take your car there at your own risk!

I had to replace 2 of my tires and rims after having hit the curve avoiding

a coalition on my son 2000 white corolla. After replacing both tires and rims I had to returned back to Pep Boys #1522 in 420 woodland lake dr in Orlando Fl. with a concern. I spoke to the manager Mr. Art Coles about my problem and after listening to me patiently Mr. Coles assured me that my problem was not a problem. Mr. Coles went above and beyond his duties to resolved my concern without any hesitation. I will like to thanks Pep Boys Corporation for maintaining such high professionalism in hiring of his managers as Mr. Art Coles demonstrated with his actions. At the end We all are in the peoples business. Thank you...JMG
