Optical Images

I recently spent over 1000.00 in glasses at Optical Images and I brought in my frames that were previously purchased. The first pair which I paid out of pocket was done fine. But those were just to be a second pair just in case. The pair which I used my insurance for and still came out of pocket for then 300.00 are useless. The left lens is off. I went back and had requested the lens be set just like my first pair of glasses because the prescription is off. They did not listen and the lens is still off after receiving the glasses and wearing them to two days to ensure it wasn't just that I am not used to the glasses. For times I had also requested my prescription for the first pair of glasses and still have not received it. First at the store where I was given a piece of paper which the incorrect prescription was written on, then again at the store where I was told the doctor was not there to sign to give me a copy and then over the phone where I was told it needed to be mailed to me. This in no way has ever happened to me before. Now I am forced to spend money again going to yet another optical to get y prescription and correct my glasses. I am extremely disappointed I wasted so much time and money. I will be looking into how to get my money back for a pair of glasses I can not use.

My family has gone to Dr. Poloncak for our eye exams every year for nearly five years. This evening, after finishing up a routine exam, one of the salesclerks/assistants offered to clean and readjust both my, and my family member's frames. Upon leaving the store, we both noticed that our vision had become impaired. After inspecting our lenses, we discovered that the left lens in both frames had become warped and clouded -- imagine looking through a haze! We're going back tomorrow to resolve this issue, and I will then adjust this review accordingly. Be warned!!

Excellent service!!! I came in for an eye exam due to bad headaches and other vision problems. The Dr. was quick to determine that I had a special condition called papilledema and quickly referred me to a specialist. (Unfortunately, I don't remember the Dr's name, but it was a Hispanic Dr. that is there on Sundays.) Without this consultation I could have lost my eyesight completely!! Great service!!
