Gary Munson Heating & A/C

Easy to deal with guys. Just when I thought things were bad, a small talk with a representative set me straight. I can tell these guys really care.

We just had our very first experience with this company and we couldn't be more pleased. We had no a/c. They arrived quickly, evaluated the problem and fixed the problem in no time. The tech took the time to explain some things for future reference and gave advice as well. He was great! It was the first time my husband didn't end up in an argument with an a/c tech. Most are trying to take advantage of you. Not this company! Thank you!

He does a great job selling you a product but once its in he will leave you high and dry. He set up the air conditioning wrong the first time and the 2nd time. Caused damage in my garage and still waiting on help from him. He keeps promising to come and fix the problem but never shows... Totally disappointed from 1 business person to another... Customers should not be treated this way.

I recently used Gary Munson Heating & AC to replace my old AC system.

Since my unit was unrepairable, I called several places at random to compare their advice and their prices. I chose to use Gary Munson strictly based on my initial contact with his son A.J. He spent time answering all my questions about different brands and units, and was very knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. He did not rush me and came out that very day to do an evaluation and give me an estimate. I was satisfied with the price, so decided to use them solely based on my initial meeting with A.J. They came out the following day to replace my inside and outside unit and did an outstanding job. Their technicians were efficient, experienced, friendly and overall fantastic. In 6 hours I was up and running again and haven't had a single problem with the new unit. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for an honest, reasonably priced and caring contractor.

Came in on a Sunday and got it done in an hour, not the cheapest, but defnitely high quality and fair.

We had a 2100 square foot home with 2 antiquated A/C systems running off 30 year old leaking ducts. My initial contact with Gary was to pursue a Ductless A/C system since our attic space is 3 foot high max. The ductless system was very expensive, but Gary mentioned his crew works in attics with limited space and proposed a new duct system with 3 return airs, and a SEER 16 variable speed system. He also suggested I get 3 quotes and pick out an A/C manufacture I am comfortable with (Trane, Bryant, etc...). We evaluated the 3 quotes but we knew from the second visit with Gary’s open and honest manner and information his was the company we wanted to do business with. In November 2011 his crew was in the attic in no time, and started removing the old duct work, the old return (on floor plywood construction), gutted a closet, and removed the 2 A/C external units and boarded up the openings. The process took 3 days to complete and the air handler was installed in a closet; works fantastically, much quieter, and overall the best home improvement we have ever made. Our electric bill is lower and house is consistently cooler in every room. The crew doing the work was excellent, experienced and professional; I give the overall experience an A+ and recommend Gary Munson Heating and A/C to anyone needing A/C help. They do excellent work at a fair price.

These people do phenomenal work. They have multiple technicians that have come to my house to fix an issue and perform my maintenance agreement services and they all have been just great. They are knowledgable and to the point. There really isn't enough companies out there like Gary Munson Heating and A/C...they truely care about their customers. I will continue to use them and highly reccommend them to anyone and everyone.

I highly recommend Gary Munson's Heat and Air. He does excellent work at a fair price. I had a complete system installed, including new duct work. He never tried to push anything on me, just explained my options and answered all my questions. The workers who came out to do the installation were very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I will be calling Gary Munson for all my AC needs and recommending him to everyone I know who needs AC/Heat work.

I wouldn't use any other company for any A/C or heating repair/install I have. They have a wide knowledge of anything and everything HVAC. These guys really know their stuff and do a damn good job, too! Their prices are reasonable, their technicians are quick and to the point, and their PM contract is EXTREMELY beneficial. I bought one because I was nervous that something may go wrong with my unit during the winter when I have on my heat 24/7 and I haven't had a problem in years.

I would go somewhere else. I believe that they price gouge. Charged $140 for a $40 thermostat. That was just the thermostat, not the labor. When I called to ask, Gary seemed upset and talked about how fair his prices were, and that ones I was looking at were cheap models. I looked up the exact model. Again, when you charge this much for labor, why gouge on something like a thermostat?

Our air conditioning went out, of course it was 100 deg outside, and Gary was the only one who called us back. Thank goodness we were able to get the unit running ourselves, but he will be the first and only company we call next time. Thanks for great customer service!
