EASTSIDE ASIAN MARKET

I used to love this place because it was clean, organized, and close to my home but after two incidents with my family and I, we all decided to stop going here.

The first time happened a few months ago. I bought a tea pot and brought it home. I opened it and found that the pot was shattered. I brought it back to the store and they did not take it back. They told me that I was supposed to check whether the pot was broken or not. He treated me like I was a little girl and spoke to me in an unrespectful way. Not knowing if he was telling the truth or not I left upset with the customer service and the broken teapot. I later found out that the employees were supposed to check the teapot for me to make sure it wasn't broken before selling it.

The second incident occurred recently. My parents went to buy a few bags of dumplings. We have always eaten this brand of dumplings and nothing was ever wrong with it. We always look for expiration dates when we buy from Asian markets. We didn't find an expiration date on the bag but we decided to trust the store and bought it anyway. We bought 6 bags of dumplings and opened a bag only to find that the dumplings were completely BLACK. We opened another bag, again it was all black. We returned all 6 bags.
