EZ Made it well...Easy to rent a car. Me and my buddies were going on a hunting trip and needed a larger vehcile to handle us. Eeasy had a great selection of larger vehicles for us. Had a great trip!

My moms car was in the shop and I could not afford to take her to work and back with my stressful job. EZ came in for us in the clutch with an inexpensive reliable vehicle. No surprises or hidden fees. We were limited to 150 miles per day but that was not an issue as that was advertised upon making the reservation (and my mom works close)

Easy is the way to go! Fast and quick service at an unbeatable rate of $6 per day. Returning the car took a bit of time as it was kind of backed up. We had a plan to catch and we almost missed it. I would highly suggest you allow enough time in order to avoid stress on traveling day. Other than that it was a flawless experience.

This company came in the clutch for me and my family on our last trip. Firefly did not have our reserved vehicle available upon our arrival. In other words we were sitting ducks. We were pointed to EZ who gladly accepted us and matched our quoted rate from firefly.



After picking up the vehicle everything went well. A few sscratches on the car and what not but nothing at all too serious.

I am not sure I understand where the negative reviews are coming from. My experience was one you would expect to find at a Hertz or Enterprise at half the cost. The discounted rental allowed me to do more on my vacation. Thank you Easy!

Consider yourself warned. IT IS NOT WORTH THE COUPLE DOLLARS IN SAVINGS - use a reputable rental company. Like others, they charged me over $500 for a pre-existing scratch on the front fender that I could barely see. The person checking out the car will tell you you don't need to mark off the 'little' scratches, only for them to come back and claim you created the scratch upon return of the vehicle. The harrassing emails and letters just keep coming even after I lodged a complaint on BBB and they acquiesced to close the case. Check out their BBB ratings and complaints - this is not an isolated case but part of their business model. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!

EZ Rental company was an absolute nightmare to deal with. They kept my deposit and charged my debit card random fees without explaining what they were for with a breakdown of fees. Their customer service people barely spoke english and were incredibly rude, and the end result is my bank fighting the charges and the BBB investigating.

Beware renting from EZ Rent-A-Car! It seems quick and easy...at first.

On my third time renting with EZ (the first two experiences were painless and I had decided to go to EZ for all my rental needs...until...) I found myself lost on 417 in Orlando. When I realized I was going the wrong way, I got off on the next exit, turned around and got back on the 417 going the other way. Both the exit ramp and the re-entry ramp had coin basket toll collectors - .75 cents for each one. I had absolutely no change with me, so I couldn't pay them. I made a mental note of it and told the agent at MCO when I returned it. The only thing he said to me was "I'll take care of it". I expressed my gratitude and thought nothing else of it until WEEKS later when my credit card was unexpectedly charged $1.50 for the toll (okay, I can accept that) PLUS another charge of $50!!!



I called corporate customer service to report the erroneous charge and was told that if I miss a toll I'm required to call corporate and report it to them. I reviewed the contract and it said NOTHING about being required to call corporate to report a missed toll. Furthermore, I had reported it to the agent at the return and he said he'd take care of it. The person I spoke to said she was the "highest possible person to speak to at the corporate office" (I guess she is the CEO?) and that if I wanted to dispute the charge, I'd have to send an e-mail. I sent an e-mail and received a reply stating that the EZ rental agent that had told me he would 'take care of it' would be reprimanded, but sorry - they won't refund the $50 charge.



So basically they acknowledge their employee was wrong, but require their CUSTOMERS to pay for their employees mistakes. After further attempts to help EZ understand this error and provide a fair solution, I was told they wouldn't refund the $50, case closed. (Unfortunately for them, they've ALREADY lost more money than they STOLE from me - from losing me as what had been and could have continued to be a frequent repeat customer).



Dealing with corporate customer service at EZ Rent-A-Car is a nightmare. They charge erroneous fees, don't listen to their customers and do nothing to honor customer loyalty. There are other discount car rental companies that treat their customers MUCH better. AVOID EZ RENT A CAR!!!!

If I could give this rip off excuse for a car rental agency a zero - I would! Shame on us for renting despite the bad reviews. BELIEVE THEM!! They tried overcharging us at return for bogus charges, but we caught them and they were removed from our bill. How shocked were we to see "additional charges" hit our account the next month??!!



We disputed the charges with our credit card company, but EZ hired a collection agency AND reported our dispute as an unpaid account before the dispute was resolved, so now we have to deal with those issues! We called the fly-by-night collection agency that said they would send us verification of the two missed tolls (huh?) and the administrative fees (totaling $55), but didn't. They only gave us 20 hours to pay or they would not remove the blemish from our credit report.



Garbage and more garbage!!! STAY AWAY!! YOU REALLY DO GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! RUN TO ANY OTHER PLACE BUT THIS ONE!!!

It's the very worst car rental I never had. Keep on mind, I am on road a lot because of my job. Usually I use other car rental companies, this was the very first time I dealt with E-Z, which was terrible experience. Don't believe their slogan: best value in car rental. At the first look, you might be fooled, and at the end they will rip you off for no reason. Especially Orlando International Airport location, service was worse than horrible. Two weeks ago I had very early fly that day, the car return counter was very hard to locate at this airport(my first time in this location), I was in a hurry, after spend 20min waiting for people to answer on phone, finally got agreement: I could park the rental car in airport parking lot with detail location, return key to rental counter (where you get your paper work done). By the time I got to counter, there were no agents there, several customers waiting before me already. After several urgent phone calls+another long time waiting, finally a sleepy guy showed up, who promised me I wouldn't have extra charge, since I already paid in advance. By now (after finishing with this guy), I only had 15min left before the plane took off, I have not gone through security yet. Thank God, I had a very nice airport guy who led me to express pass, otherwise I would miss my plane. The worst of all, by the time I got back to LA, found out E-Z car rental charged me extra more than $100 on my credit car for no obvious reasons. I tried to call them, good luck with that! no body answer the phone, no body return your call. After almost two week trying, still no luck. I spread out words to my colleagues, who are also very often on the business trips, and also people need rent a car, or you who are reading this review: E-Z car rental rips off customers at the end for no reasons. Don't be fooled by the cheap price at the beginning, they will rip you at the end. I paid my price already, you all should not!!! NEVER, EVER, EVER DEAL THE E-Z or AGAIN. The nosy company like this should have gone out of business right away before prey on more costumers. I would give it ZERO star if I could. So here you go, E-Z is not easy, but absolutely HEADACHE, IRRITATING.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY

I do not usually write reviews on companies no matter the service, but I had to write a review to discourage anybody from making the same mistake I did. I will keep this brief. I selected this company through travelocity.com because it had the lowest rate. When my wife and I arrived at the airport we waited an hour and a half for their shuttle to arrive and after I called them three times requesting a shuttle it finally arrived, meanwhile we saw numerous shuttles coming and going from hertz and enterprise (every 2 minutes). Picking up the car was another hassle, it took another hour and a half to process the paperwork and retrieve the car which I thought was strange because we were the only customers there.



Returning the car was the same problem, extremely slow service, and we almost missed our flight because of the delay of the shuttle.



While driving the car in Miami, we were confused by the toll lanes and ran some. I got home to find a $51.00 charge to my account from E-Z Rent a Car. I called to inquire about it and I was told that they charge a $50.00 administrative fee for each ticket you get while operating the car. So to clarify, the city of miami, only charges $1.00 for a toll violation, but E-Z Rent a Car charges an additional $50.00 for a $1.00 violation.

Keep in mind I cannot remember how many tolls I ran so these charges could still multiply.



So if I got 3 tickets the total would be $3.00 but E-Z Rent a Car would charge me $150.00, which absolutely absurd.

Please save yourself this nightmare.

An otherwise inexpensive get away for me and my wife was ruined by this no name car rental company.

I learned a valuable lesson to pay the extra money up front from a reputable business rather then get ripped off by these no name companies.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
