Sassy Paws Grooming

Awesome! Megan was wonderful with my 16 year old cockapoo...will be going back again. Love that they treat the dog like their own. Can’t say enough good words about Sassy Paws!!

Friendly staff -5lb puppy thin hair 1.5in long. Owner claimed the dog is matted? I questioned and felt no matting. Whatever. Asked for all over trim, focus on SANI Area w/bath. At PU dog was bathed/brushed no sign of a trim. $30. Dog was not matted as owner had claimed. Dropped off 10am they called 2:20pm for PU. Informed them I was over 45 min away 1.5 hr till I could get there. I called at 1:45pm dog not ready. Both calls spoke with a man. Disappointed with 4hr wait. 30min later received two calls stating pick up the dog or their taking her home.I arrived saw a customer was walking out with his dog. Owner reported my puppy was aggressive and peed on girls head. 4 wks later brought dog in again this time asked to do an all over cut-focus on the private areas to trim fur. Owner again claimed the dog is matted however she was not AGAIN. At PU she was able to be brushed out No problem. Charge was $45 for a puppy cut and hair in private area not trimmed down.Wiping poop each time and dried up urine left around private area which has irritated the skin. At drop off I showed them I had just broken my foot in PAIN-stated I would pick the dog up at 145pm when I left to PU child at school. At 140pm as I was parked in front hobbling out of car, received multiple text messages stating to get there immediately shop is closing or charging me day care fees. Hours state close @5pm. I did not see these messages until I returned to my car and paying $15 more than first visit. First visit 4hr20min,Second time only 2.5hr. If they require you to pick up your dog by a certain time or if there is a max time allowed before additional fees are incrued that needs to be stated when the dog is dropped off. Owner who greets you is very friendly and claims she is the one grooming but she is not the one who does the job. Displeased with how they run the business, make yourself available all day and run. Will Not Return. First grooming@Midwest vet- no complaints by groomer-No Matts/aggression.
