Pediatric Center Inc

We had the Pediatric Center as primary care for our daughter Alex for years;when she was due to have her immunizations updated as required by Ohio law we of course went to Pediatric Center.



I was laid off at the time and we had just incurred massive home repairs so knowing of and budgeting for copays and out of pocket expenses in advance was important.

I asked the nurse administering the shots and the woman in charge of billing how much would be covered by our insurance and both told me ALL was covered.

Imagine our dismay when we received a bill for 160.00 a couple of weeks later.

When I called to question them why, they referred me to my insurance company, when told the shots weren't covered I called Pediatric Center back to confront them and they smugly told us it was OUR job to make sure the shots were covered, not theirs.



That leads me to believe that ;



A: They don't know what they are doing,even though one womans job was simply to interpret what was covered and what was not,and she told me prior to treatment the shots were covered,



or



B: They deliberately lied knowing I had the choice between paying anyhow or having a collection agency ruin my credit.



I wouldn't bring a stray dog to their center for care; in the meantime we have found a competent ( and honest) Doctor for our child.
