The Board of Education, Oregon City Schools, with its office located in Oregon, Ohio, is an elected body and administers the school district. Its goal is to create and operate an environment where students learn effectively through the implementation of its policies. It manages the district's various departments, units, and programs; provides leadership in keeping abreast of current educational developments; and coordinates the improvement of instructional programs, facilities, equipment and materials. The district has more than five school campuses that offer classes from preschool through grade 12. The board s business divisions are engaged in accounting, transportation, purchase and maintenance activities, and providing various facilities, including information systems and nutrition services. Its education services division is responsible for the curriculum, technical education, multilingual programs and other student services, as well as assessment and staff development.
