        Seventh Day Baptist Church, located in Oregon City, OR is different from other Christian churches in our desire to keep and remember the original Sabbath day, not Sunday as many have decided to do. We offer: Bible study Worship Fellowship Meal of Sabbath Jesus confirmed Saturday as the Sabbath as a day of worship. We observe the seventh day of the week (Saturday) as God's Holy Day as an act of loving obedience--not as a means of salvation. Salvation is the gift of God through Jesus Christ. The Sabbath provides believers with a specific time to honor and worship the Creator. It is the joy of the Sabbath that makes Seventh Day Baptists just a little bit different.         I was interested in finding a place to worship on Saturday since I was convicted of the Seventh Day Sabbath many years ago. I was baptized into the Seventh Day Adventist Church in 1980 but the teachings of Ellen G. White never really rang true for me. I found this little church near my home in September 2011 and they took me in without judgement or criticism.Sabbath school is a joy as we get to share opinions and always search The Word for answers.We would love to have you, please consider joining us to receive your Sabbath blessing any Saturday :) Terry
