Orange County Urgent Care

Called them before I went & told them I had fallen several days ago & needed 2 be seen 2 be sure I did not injure myself worse than it appears.Was told that they were open if I wanted to come in.I then checked their website before I went & it says they handle falls & broken bones among other things.When I got there I was asked what was wrong, told the receptionist I took a bad fall,was given paperwork to fill out and they took my co-pay.It was only when a nurse took me back to a room that she said "You know we don't do X-Rays here, right?"Said I could go to their Mid-County location if I wanted to(can't drive that far - too much pain)or they could send me to outpatient at Baptist next door for X-rays & radiology would call me in a few days w/ results.DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION IF YOU NEED X-RAYS!They can't do them & it is a waste of time.They need a sign in their lobby that says they don't do them. Got my co-pay back & have to wait another day to see my GP that is overbooked this week.

We had family in from out of town and their 2 year old had typical signs of an ear infection. I'm a RN so I was able to take a look and it looked like a slight ear infection. It was about 4 pm on a Sunday so I called to check their hours. Whoever answered the phone said they were open until 5 and they took their last patient at 4:45. I said that was perfect because they were leaving Vidor right then and would get there right before 4:45. She asked me to hang on a minute and when she came back to the phone she very rudely told me to tell them not to bother because the Nurse Practitioner had to leave at exactly 5 and they would probably turned away even if they got there before 4:45. I tried to be polite and said that I understood, but this little girls ear really hurts, they would be there before the cut-off time and it would be quick and easy. She then responded with, "I told you not to bother, we won't see them!" So, we won't bother this time or ANY OTHER time!!

Very quick. I was in and out in less than 45 min and that's the time it took me to fill out new patient paperwork.

Went there on Thursday April 2nd at 7:20 pm and they told us that the nurse practitioner had already left for the day. The sign on the door states that they are open until 8pm but this is not accurate. The next day I called and asked their hours and the receptionist said they would be there until 7:30 pm

Both of my babies were sick and this place was fast and great with my kids. I will be going back when I need too.

Took my elderly dad was in and out in no time. Dr was very compassionate and took care of him . I would highly recommend this one and their other one in mid county. Will go back and tell all my Friends! !
