Couldn't agree more with the review from Amanda below. Company took money for the order of materials for a job. Readily cashed check, but no supplies delivered or services rendered. No return phone calls. If I could give negative stars I would. One star is one star too many.



BEWARE: There is a reason that a company in business for only 2 years must have multiple names.

Unprofessional and unethical! I would highly recommend calling another company for any supply ordering.

I placed an order online through OWSCS.com, their website- which is very basic. Paid through PayPal, as that seemed safe (with buyer protection). Never received any invoice or tracking number from the company after almost a whole week of the payment already processing through PayPal. Days later, I receive an email that stated the company would not be able to accept my PayPal payment and to call them. The guy explained that he could not issue the refund, I had to go through PayPal to process the refund. Why could they not accept my payment? Because they wanted the money before we got the product. The employee stated that once the refund is done (which, by the way, he had to process through PayPal!), they would honor my paid price (which did not include shipping as a result of error via their site and PayPal). I thought that was a nice gesture, even though I then had to send a payment via check (snail mail) to their listed address. A week goes by and the company doesn't respond to my contact attempts while trying to get a status on whether they received the check and have shipped my order. I receive word from my accounting department that the check cleared our bank account (took about a week). Still heard nothing back from them for another few days, at which point the employee became RUDE. He stated that they do not accept rush orders and that if we need the product sooner than they can produce it they could refund. I advised that a rush was not necessary, however, we had already been waiting now 2 weeks for a resolution, tracking number, something! So I waited. I did not call or email to harass them further. Then, I receive an email about a week and a half later, from Frank Lucas that reads, "The owner will be sending a full refund . Due to a rush order , which we do not permit . The return will take approx 30 to 60 days . Thank you. Order processing Frank Lucas !" So, ultimately, they took and cashed my check, sent me NO product, maintained poor communication and were unable to fulfill the order as promised, but are STILL going then take up to 2 months to give me my money back. This company lost what could have been a continuously lucrative business relationship with our company because of their poor customer service and failure to deliver their product.

SIDE NOTE: Ordered the same product from another supplier- American Chimneys (also in New York). My order was processed immediately over the phone with Chris, the employee; I received a professional email within hours from Debbie with an invoice and my order shipped the same day. Imagine that! Take a note from them, OWSCS!
