Established in 1951, Olivehurst Elementary School provides a variety of academic and extracurricular programs for students in kindergarten through grade six. The school has an enrollment of more than 500 students. It administers classes in various subjects, such as reading, writing, mathematics, science, computer education, history and social studies. Olivehurst Elementary School also offers art, music, day care and English language development, outreach intervention, and speech and language programs. Its facilities include a library media center, garden, multipurpose room and cafeteria. The school s students participate in a range of sports activities, including soccer and basketball. It is a part of the Marysville Joint Unified School District, which governs elementary, intermediate, high, charter, and alternative and adult education schools, as well as a preschool.
