A serene experience overlooking the beautiful Mystic River. I received a Manicure from Maeghan and a Blow Dry from Stephanie for a little treat, and I could not have been treated better. The warm neck wrap was amazing and the coffee bar was a treat. Loved it!

Britany has taken advanced Paul Mitchell color/cutting classes, Keratin complex certification (all four systems), Hair Dreams Tape In Hair Extensions, advanced razor cutting classes from Red Door Spa’s national educators, as well as advanced balayage classes. The best part about attention to lifestyle is it never stops working – it’s timeless. And it’s never too late to start taking care of yourself and your skin, no matter what your age. Danielle (and The Salon and Spa) commends two skin care lines: Solavedi, plant-based products made in Connecticut in small batches, and Skin Ceuticals, medical grade products that boast data-driven results. Both lines offer age-delay options. “There’s no reason our skin can’t be healthy at every age,” she says. In addition to facial treatments, Danielle specializes in waxing, nail care, lash lifts, and lash and brow tinting.

For optimal results we suggest that you discontinue the use of Retinol, Retin-A, Accutane, or any acne treatment at least 7+ days before your waxing appointment. Please check with your doctor before discontinuing any medication.
Chemical Peel
Laura is the newest addition to the Rob Rivers team, but in no way is her resume any less impressive. She came to us from the prestigious Elemis Spa, bringing her caring touch and passionate advice with her. Laura has taken numerous classes, most notably an advanced makeup class through Jane Iredale University, waxing, microdermabrasion, and a Master Class from Skin Ceuticals. She has certifications in CND Shellac polish and chemical peels. Laura is also a Certified Skin Care Educator and worked for Brio Academy of Cosmetology teaching classes in advanced makeup artistry.
