The Workers' Compensation and Insurance Fraud Unit is operated by the Office of the Attorney General of the government of Oklahoma. The unit investigates and prosecutes fraud for claimants, doctors, attorneys and insurance companies. It provides education and training on workers compensation fraud. The Workers' Compensation and Insurance Fraud Unit investigates various claims for businesses and consumers. It also maintains a workers compensation fraud help line. The Office of the Attorney General operates through consumer protection, criminal appeals, general counsel, litigation and tobacco enforcement sections, as well as environmental protection, public utilities and victim services units. In addition, the office investigates and prosecutes abuse, neglect and financial exploitation in Medicaid facilities.
