I will NEVER use or recommend this bakery to anyone. Ordered 7 dozen cupcakes and a quarter sheet cake for a retirement party. Cupcakes & cake were to be decorated the same with white butter cream swirl frosting with orange & royal blue sprinkles (Thunder colors). I was horrified to see each cupcake was decorated with one side of cupcake had orange frosting and other side of cupcake had blue frosting! Nothing even close to what I had ordered! The cake was even worse and nothing close to what I had ordered, The name on cake was misspelled (i had even spelled the name for them) and writing on cake was on left side of cake...not centered! I had to wait while frosting was scraped off 7 dozen cupcakes and redone. Cupcakes looked sloppy and frosting looked like a sad soft serve ice cream cone and there were more sprinkles in the box than on cupcakes!! Had to take them as no time to go elsewhere before party. Horrible customer service as they could have cared less and it was an inconvenience for them to attempt to fix their error!!

Ive never been disappointed with anything from Johnnies. Huge selection and the taste of everything Ive tried has been spot on !! Delicious and great variety.

Since the new owner took over I have never had a better cinnamon roll in my life! and the cakes are amazing as well! when you walk into this bakery it really looks professional and has lots of displays all over which is very handy. I love this bakery and would go anywhere else!

Johnnie's has the best cakes and cupcakes in Oklahoma City, hands down. I am not sure what the other people have complaints about, but my family and I have always received great customer service from them. I actually drive 30 minutes to buy their cupcakes and cakes...passing up Gigi's and several other places that do not even come close to Johnnie's (I live in Edmond, OK). I would honestly say ignore the other reviews and give them a try for yourselves. I have been buying their goods since 2009 and now they are under new management and I still have absolutely no complaints.

I tried johnnies for the second time today. My first visit left me with a horrible taste in my mouth. Poor customer service!!! That was about three years ago. I go in today thinking I'm going to buy just some cookies to go and they are disgusting. I feel like they might have been sitting there all week. Very dry and hard. I've learned my lesson. Take it from me folks, don't walk away from johnnies RUN!

The people were nice and helpful, but the cake was dry and not very tasty.

Despite the poor reviews in the past, I thought I would give Johnnies a try since they are so close to my home but, they haven't improved! I called and asked if they had any pre-made birthday cakes on hand for purchase. The "less than excited" employee told me to hold and he would check. After waiting on the phone for more than 25 minutes for the employee NEVER RETURNED! Their customer service shortcomings haven't improved!! Thumbs Down on these guys..I'm done!

Tried to order a cake on March 1st. The ladies working there seemed to only keep waiting on people who came in after me, so I left rather abruptly. They also don't have a good selection at ALL for adult-type, milestone birthday cakes - they were mostly for children. Hey, we adults DO like to have birthday cakes, also - especially to celebrate milestone birthdays. Won't be going back, no matter how good their cakes/pastries are.

I went into the store about 4 weeks before a baby shower and placed an order. It was a cake chosen from the catalog they have on their counter. I asked for a few changes to it, nothing fancy.. picked colors.. and paid in full for the order. A young girl that was college aged placed my order. The day before the shower I recieved a phone call from Johnnies and they informed me that the girl who I had placed my order with was new and had undercharged me. Also that what I had wanted for the cake was unable to be done (fondant icing) and that unless I wanted to pay over a hundred dollars more, they would not do anything even similar to what i'd ordered. They not once offered to comp anything.

After arguing with them very politely for over an hour I told them they had poor customer service and I was very dissapointed and I canceled my order/did not pay extra and had to drive to their store to get cash back. They had already cashed my check. They made me bring in a copy of my canceled check because they had no records of how i'd paid.

I ended up getting a cake from walmart. Sigh.

Their cakes and pies are wonderful. Good service.
