Golden Corral Restaurants

My mother turned 80 in October 2017. I wanted to get the family together to celebrate. Looking for a venue at the last minute and not havinng lived in oklahoma for 35+ years left me at a disadvantage. My mother being 80 I was left with the issue that she might not feel like going at the last minute, therefore I did not want to get a caterer. My sister suggested Golden Coral. At the last minute they welcomed us. They provided a place where we could all be together. A place where we wouldn't be bothered and more importantly where we wouldn't bother anyone else as we are a loud family. They took great care of us from the moment we came through the door until we left. The food was great, hot stuff hot and cold stuff cold and tasted great! I cannot brag enough about the food and the staff. They were right on top of every glass that needed refilled, every dirty dish that needed to be cleared away. I can guarantee that everytime we come to OKC we will visit again. Thank you Golden Coral for making what could have easily turned into a disaster a wonderful and memorable event!

We decided on Golden Corral at this location for Thanksgiving Day Dinner. We arrived about 11:15 AM to a small line of about 8 people out the door. The line moved quickly but quickly formed behind us even faster after we got inside the doors. Within about 15 minutes of line-waiting we got our drinks and paid for our meal, then the REAL wait began. They were completely at FULL capacity and had NO available tables to seat anyone further. So we waited 20 minutes with our drinks in hand to be seated for dinner. Once we got a table (for 5) , the buffet remained completely stocked with all of the traditional Thanksgiving dinner fare in addition to all the steaks, pot roast,meatloaf,, pizza and desserts we could eat . We decided then and there that this was going to be an annual deal for us! Loved the food,,,so fresh and delicious and great wait staff.. If you can arrive early and handle a little wait on MAJOR holidays, which is only to be expected, you won't be disappointed!
