I was referred to Dr. King after going to the E.R. from a car accident. The E.R. stated I had a stage 3 concussion. I told Dr. King over and over my shoulder was in severe pain. After several weeks of "therapy" and several visits complaining my shoulder was in intense pain Dr. King referred me to a pain specialist. The specialist ordered a MRI and found disk in my neck and lower back were damaged to the extent of needing 2 surgeries. Dr. King still stated my lower back should hurt more than my neck. Ordered epidural injections and Tylenol 3 for pain. When the injections went badly because the needle could not push between the vertebrae and was forced through in 3 different locations Dr. King stated I was pill seeking and could not be given pain medication beyond Tylenol 3 because 2 narcotics could not be given at the same time. Distrusting Dr. King at this point I went to my normal PCP and upon looking at a standard x-ray found my rib was broken along with the muscles and ligaments attached to my collar bone had been detached. Due to the time period that had passed they already began to heal improperly. When I called Dr. King to confront him about the findings Dr. King refused to see me and dropped me as a patient.

This doctor is more interested in recommending you to a lawyer friend of his than practicing medicine. He refused to do an xray after a car accident because he didn't see the point. He then poked my neck and said I was having muscle spasms and required 10 weeks of physical therapy and charged $500 for the visit. Stay away from this man.

Dr. Kim King needs to lose his license. I've been a patient of his since Dec 2011. Dr. King was a good Dr but what he did to me could have killed me . I've had 2 neck surgeries that he referred me to have done. The way he almost killed me is he was treating me for diabetes and also pain management. Dr. King had me on Norco 7.5/325 and somas since 2011. Then because I couldn't do a UA because I didn't know they were going to do one they never let u know what their going to do so I used the restroom in the lobby. When I get back to the room and the nurse takes my b/p then tells me they need a UA well I can't go they give me water I drank 3 glasses and still couldn't go. They have me reschedule my appt I do then 2 days later I get a letter saying Dr. King is terminating my care. Well I end up going though bad withdrawals and my blood sugar skyrocketed. I'd think twice before seeing this man.

Awful

I was referred by my lawyer and don't think he ever actually went to see him himself. The wait time is awful, everytime I went it always took at least an hour for them to call you to the back. The staff seems disrespectful and rude, consider someone else before ever considering to see this doctor. Just horrible.

I took a dear friend, whom is disabled, to see Mr. King and we ended up waiting almost two-and-a-half-hours. This was after being referred by his attorney. After Mr. King had seen my friend, I left the room to use the restroom and overheard him making fun of my disabled friend. This level of disrespect is very unprofessional and furthermore it undermines the already damaged medical profession.

I was so upset after hearing him mock my friend that I asked one of the staff members if this was how he treated all his patients?

People like Mr. King seem preoccupied with how many patients they can see in a day rather than the quality of the care they should be giving.

This place is a joke!

I was referred to Dr. King by a friend that obviously never went to him himself. I waited almost 2 hours after my appointment time to actually be seen. I asked the receptionist about an hour in to the wait if I was going to be seen anytime soon because I saw many people sign in and be seen before me. She told me that those people had standing appointments. I don't really care if they have standing appointments or not; I made an appointment for a certain time and even though typically doctors offices run behind I didn't expect to be waiting 2 hours while others went before me. The reception staff talked badly about patients loud enough that it could be heard by many people in the waiting area. When I actually met with Dr. King he seemed to already have me diagnosed before I ever talked to him in person. He entered the room with samples of what he gave me the very first time I saw him. He didn't listen to my concerns and then he misdiagnosed me. I was severly upset with the care I received at this office. I will never return and urge others to look at other options first. They were more than happy to take my payment for services when I signed in, but not concerned enough to give me proper care or respect.

Best Doctor Around.

Dr. King is the best Dr. around in my opinion. He cares about you as a person. And will take his time finding out the problem your having.

But because of this he is always running behind, but hes worth the wait.

He has the best staff, very friendly and kind, excellent at what thay do.

Dr.King is a very established man in his field. I have been going to him for years now. Wouldn't want anyone else to take care of me.

His office is alway clean. And believe me that in itself means alot.,for this day and age.

He has help me through many inconvenience in my life. And listen to them all. (Good and Bad) And I didn't drive him crazy. SMILE.

If he isn't for sure whats going on with you, he will send you to someone who will, but he pretty much knows what happening.

Thats about all for now about a great man in 2008.

Thanks

Liz M.
