We stopped in for a quick lunch today and were EXTREMELY impressed.

The space itself is small but clean and bright, and well appointed, to boot.

The owner, a pleasant Jordanian-American fellow, couldn't have been friendlier to us, and his employees were also exceedingly friendly and eager to serve.

I had the falafel sandwich with extra toum (Levantine-style garlic sauce), onions, marinated chickpeas, and (best of all) kabees al-lift (i.e., Levantine-style pickled turnips).

My husband had a vegan platter filled with quinoa (!!!) tabouli, a red cabbage slaw, spicy hummus, and baba ghanouj. Yum.

The prices were more than fair, and the portions QUITE generous.

Right across the highway from Mercy Hospital and just around the corner from Gaillardia, too -- VERY easy to find!

I'm giving this restaurant five truly WELL DESERVED stars.

We can't wait to return to Baba G!
