Dental Examination
Oral Cancer Screening
All new patients receive a thorough seventy minute exam, in order to properly assess their dental health. This exam includes x-rays, gum exam, head and neck exam (muscles of the head and neck, temporomandibular joint), digital pictures of the teeth, oral cancer screening, and evaluation of the bite.

Fillings
Silver and gold fillings used to be our only choice for restoring your damaged or decayed teeth. But advances in dental materials technology have created strong new synthetic tooth-colored restorative materials that help you look your best.
Resin Composite
If you decide you’d like your tooth restored with a white material, we can use either porcelain or composite resin, which is a plastic like substance. We’ll carefully match the chosen material to your natural teeth, so the restoration will blend in well.
Veneers
Veneers are thin shells of porcelain that are fabricated with the help of a dental laboratory. They generally cover the tops and front of teeth. Veneers can be used to whiten teeth as well as correct problems like chipped, misshapen, crooked or worn teeth.
Crowns
White crowns used to be made only of porcelain fused to metal, often leaving a dark gray area at the gum-line. Now, we have the technology to create your crown entirely from porcelain.

He is also a member of the Peer Review Committee for the Nassau County Dental Society. Anthony Falciano DDS, MAGD is a 1985 graduate of Georgetown University School of Dentistry. He completed a two-year general practice residency at Long Island Jewish Hospital, where he served as chief resident.
General Dentistry
Dr. Falciano has an ongoing commitment to advancing his skill and knowledge by studying at institutes of higher education, including the L.D. Pankey Institute in Miami, the Seattle Institute for Advanced Education (Spear Education), Louisiana State University, New York University, and the Misch Implant Institute in Detroit. In 1994, Dr. Falciano received the fellowship award from the Academy of General Dentistry. Nine years later, he received the prestigious mastership award from the same organization. His many years of practice and education have made him a skilled practitioner.
