Temple Heights Animal Hospital

My one criteria for a vet is their dedication to the animals. Dr. Veldez is the best. I've had vets in Michigan, Wisconsin, Alaska and California and THAH is the best of them all. Dr. Veldez has always been above board, has real concern for our dogs and truly loves caring for animals. I have no negative complaints therefore, I give them 5 stars.

The first thing we require when going to a new hospital is that it is clean and odor free. That is what we found on our initial tour of Temple Heights Animal Hospital over 12 years ago. Since that time, we have have been going to THAH. Dr. Valdez is a very thorough and knowledgeable veterinarian. He has always shown the utmost gentleness with our animals. Over the years, he has seen us through some very happy times and some very sad times. Always, he has been interested, kind and caring. We feel very comfortable in the fact that he always gets to the root of any problem our pets are experiencing taking the required tests and following the least invasive path when possible.



Dr. Valdez' staff is also very knowledgeable and caring. They greet the clinets with genuine warmth and courtesy always putting our pets at ease with their friendliness..

Very nice, clean hospital. The vet was kind & informative. My dog even seemed relaxed while in the office! I look forward to having a vet I can trust.

I have been taking my pets to THAH for over 7 years now. Dr. Valdez & his staff are the greatest! They always take the time to inform me about my pet's health & what I need to do to keep them healthy. I always get an estimate before any treatment is done & they explain why it is important. Then I decide what will be done on my pets. I would trust Dr. Valdez with my pets any day :)

We have taken our dogs to Temple Heights Animal Hospital for the past 20 years. Dr. Valdez has always been above board and beyond the call of duty in his care of our animals. He is the best vet we've ever dealt with. We can't thank him enough for the honesty and compassion he and his staff have given our pets and to us.

I started using Temple Heights Animal Hospital 8 years ago when I adopted my first cat. From the first visit Dr. Valdez and his staff have treated my animals with kindness & compassion. The office is spotless, well set up & my pets get top notch service. I can call anytime with questions, most of the time I can get a same day appointment & I never feel rushed like some places make you feel. No matter how busy the office is, Dr. Valdez always takes the time to thoroughly examine my cats and explain all treatment and procedures.

I recently visited this office and I was not at all impressed. I would have to say everyone was nice and polite, but that doesn't change the fact I felt I was being cheated. I had to bring my 2year old Boxer in for an "exam". I knew why I was bringing him in. He has a mass that is growing on his head that's about the size of a nickle. The treatment price was $1200!! I thought that seemed a bit high. We just moved here at this was the closest to the house that I came across. Now i didn't think at first to see other vets whether for a second opinion or maybe a lower price. And low and behold it can be done for half the price. I think it's very shameful to try and take advantage of people and there furry family members that are clearly sick. I'm glad I called around for a second estimate on Bentley's treatment plan. Myself not really knowing a lot about hoe much it costs to treat animals was actually thinking about paying that much for it! The only downfall is now I have to see another VET and pay another exam fee. Everyone just loves to get you coming and going
