        Bubbles and Bows Mobile Dog Grooming is based on the belief that customers needs are of the utmost importance. Mavis is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of her business is from repeat customers and referrals. Bubbles and Bows headquarters are located in Oceanside, California.         Mavis welcomes the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service in grooming throughout San Diego's North County. She has lived in San Diego County since 1961 and was married to Dr. Archie Bonus, a popular optometrist, for 23 years. Before starting her career in grooming, she taught elementary school with the Oceanside School District for 35 years. She loves to read, dance, and garden. Even though retired from teaching, Mavis still felt the need to "do something," especially with animals as she cares for them deeply. So, she entered the Classy Canine School of Grooming in El Cajon, California. While there, she accumulated almost 500 hours of professional training and earned the respect of her instructors

        Mavis has a fully equipped van with a hydro surge bathing system. This particular system deposits the shampoo in the water with a gentle spa-like force. The grooming table is electric in order for Mavis to reach each animal comfortably. She also has various shampoos and conditioners to meet the needs of each client. The van is also air-conditioned so that each client will be comfortable during the hot summer months. When groomed, each dog's anal glands are expressed. Then, Mavis gives a sanitary clip along with a toenail clip. She continues by removing dead hair from the ear canals and swabs the ears with an antiseptic ear cleaner. Next, the dog is bathed and dried with the blow dryer. If the weather is hot, Mavis only uses the "warm" setting. After the dog is dry, she clips and scissors to accomplish the beautiful finish. The final step is a finishing spray with rose hips that repels dirt.

        If you want a pet loving, attention to detail, and gives you more than your money's worth then you absolutely heve to use Mabis. She takes her time and devotes herself to a job of perfection. My pet Max just loves her. Her service is very reasonable and I am sure you will brag to your fellow pet friends what a wonderful grooming job she does. Believe me, it will show in your pet's apprearnace of excellence. I drive a total of 80+ miles round trip just to have her do my Max. Nothing is too good for Max and that's why I use Bubbles & Bows. Love you Mabis!!!
