rip off! extremely overpriced for contacts, glasses etc. ever since they hired that new girl in the back who fixes glasses, she's trying to make the doctor money by ripping us all off! i would not suggest this place to anyone!! stay clear, rip offs are near!

Extremeley overpriced. My wife and I were charged $1111.50 for an exam and a 6 month supply of contacts.

$139 eye exam

$55 refraction

$150 contact fitting

$210 contacts



That's $554 each plus $3.50 to use a credit card. We ended up attempting to cut our losses and cancelled the contact order, waited a week until the next calendar year for our vision benefits to reset and ordered the contacts at walmart for $100 less.



On a positive note, the optometrist was as good and friendly as anyone. Albeit not $1111.50 good.

Have had same insurance for more than 5 years and have used it to pay for annual vision checks and contacts. Moved to the Coast and needed new contacts. My contacts were never available, I waited for about 2 weeks and cancelled my order. When I went to WalMart to get contacts I was informed that I couldn't use my insurance benefits as thay had paid Seaside Optical for my contact allowance. I called and called and called. I ended up paying for my contacts for the rest of the year and had WalMart check each time, still no correction with my insurance.

Now over a year later, I get a bill from Seaside Optical, low and behold this office charges a fitting fee for contacts, a fee I have never encountered at other offices....$90 for contacts that I never received, Oddly, a coworker never received her contacts either and said she had odd charges and encounter at this business also
