We called Allen about several key & lock issues at our new home. He came out to re-key locks on our home to the same key as well as make several extra keys, which he was able to do onsite from his mobile workshop in his van.
We asked him to look at a handle on the front door which had been put on wrong; using it required pulling up instead of pushing down on the handle. It was a unique type and he gave us info with regards to the unusual parts necessary - if we were able to find them. If we couldn’t find parts we would need to spend $350+ for an entire new lock & handle set (yikes). We were able to find parts and Allen came out to rework the entire set - saving us a lot of money.
Meanwhile we realized the garage door could be easier to use if we had a keypad/ keyed lock set. Allen texted me what we should look for. He installed that, and even though we thought we made appropriate measurements, he had to make some small adjustments due to our error. He took it in stride and was so gracious about the situation! He also re-keyed that lock to match the key for the other outside doors.
We are quite pleased with all the key and lock work Allen did at our home! We found him to be very professional, helpful, and a great locksmith with vast knowledge of his profession. We highly recommend Allen at Ocean Springs Safe & Lock Service!
