i have known Larry for a lot of years , i have bought many guns from him , i think he is great and very knowledgeable. cannot say enough good things about him,

Most everything in the store is overpriced compared to what you can get it for online plus online there’s no sales tax. The owner is very rude unless he knows your net worth. Touched a benelli shotgun and he lost his cool and a sale. Here is some advise Larry, if you don’t want customers handling your merchandise lock it up, put it out of reach or post a sign every so many feet so it’s always in view. The only reason people still shop locally is the customer service, let that sink in for a minute.

Went in to buy a box of 100 primers...refused to sell me one box, insisted that he would only sell a case of 10 boxes. I need 100, not 1000. Called later, thinking a mistake had been made and the woman I spoke with said that they didn't sell primers. I guess she had never seen the case of 10 boxes. Very arrogant, unhelpful atmosphere. What a waste of tome!

Not a great place for the average consumer. Owner is very focused on high end buyers. If you are not planning to spend $10,000 don't expect much attention .

Poor experience, owner is uppity and charges way too much. $75. for a gun transfer and twenty bucks extra to fire a round thru the gun.

STAY AWAY! There are plenty of others in the area.

I love shopping at Larry's Trading Post. I have purchased a couple of rifles and a handgun from Larry and have always been treated fairly and kindly. I would recommend Larry to anyone looking for a quality rifle or handgun. His selection is incredible!

I went to this shop to check it out. I inquired about ammo for a Schmidt-Ruben 6.5mm rifle I have and he did not know what a Schmidt-Ruben rifle was. Apparently I didn't appear to be a buyer so the guy I spoke with simply ignored me. Buyer beware of these characters.

Owner made me feel like I was a bother to him.went in there with full intentions to buy a rifle.that will never happen.as it happens,he has made the same impression on several others that I know.what a shame as he is only a mile from my house and he has a decent collection of guns.

Nice guns, but boy is this place expensive. The owner has a bit of arrogance to him when he talks. The best part of his shop is looking at all the guns the average Joe can't afford. Oh and his dog. She is nice.

While visiting ocmd I figured I'd give Larry's a chance to make a sale. I had a almost new o/u that I bought new for $1675 from a shop online. For some reason I just did not shoot it well and decided to go back to a beretta semi auto. I bring the gun in and get an offer of 500$.... Then he start to try and justify his offer. I told him the gun has an msrp of almost $1900 and he must have made a mistake. He then walks to the back to research comes out again and stood firm at $500 and then fallowed by more justification. Then He implied its not a real good gun because its under '$5000. He treated me like I was a second class citizen. On top of all this disappointment, he tried telling me a couple facts about the gun and why it wasn't good. I told him the lock up us the same as a certain other brand. He then seemed to be a little flustered because I showed him up. He had the gun in the back for several minutes. It wouldn't have taken that long to find out these simple details... I won't buy from him ever.
