This company did a nice job on a built in entertainment system for $6,500. Took over a year to complete (promised to complete it in three months), and it's still not done two years later. Lots of excuses....hard drive crash, lost this, lost that, my secretary quit, my workman quit. I did delay the job a couple of months by not selecting the right glass shading so electronic equipment couldn't be seen, but they should have know from the beginning what I needed, rather than making me go online to various glass tinting manufacturers. Finally after complaining about the bad job on a trim piece, the owner Ray came out (mainly to get the remaining $400) and proclaimed the trim job of his worker inadequate and he'd make another piece. I said I didn't want to pay the final installment until the job was completed, but he put me on a guilt trip that I didn't trust him and that his "handshake is my guarantee I'll be back, so just pay the last amount." I did like an idiot. Haven't seen him since and that was over a year ago. I've emailed at least six times and called him a few and he always says I'll be out there next week because "I have another job in your area." Dishonest company. He can say he doesn't know me like his response to another disgruntled person on this site, but anyone can contact me and I'll tell the whole story of this unhappy affair. Very, very unsatisfied and ripped off!!

Magnificent company! R & J just completed the cabinets and tops in my kitchen and I am so happy. Not only with the finished product but the process that got us to the finished product. They were always in contact with my husband or myself letting us know what was happening. It’s so nice to work with a company that has good communication now a days. They did such a wonderful job. I have bragged so much to my neighbors and friends about the workmanship and quality! I’m sure that they will be wanting to remodel too!! I can't say how happy I am enough! Ray and his staff were so so great to work with!

Contractor is difficult to work with. Does not meet time schedules. Is not honest in his dealings. Has a negative rating with the Better Business Bureau. Does not treat customers with respect. Caution: Be sure to keep all committments and promises in writing.
