Stephen's Self-Storage Oakdale

I lost my home for a year due to a fire and had to use storage and stay in an apartment for the rebuild. I have nothing bad to say about this facility except that it would be nice if they had a little bit later business hours on weekdays so I took away a star for that. Other than that the unit and facility was clean and I was impressed that the snow was always cleared quickly from in front of my unit door last winter. Compared to others prices, I'd have to say this was a better value for my dollar than what I found looking around. Now that my house has been rebuilt I just moved out but I would not hesitate to come back if I needed storage again someday.

I rented a unit from Michael and Nicodemus and can't say enough good things about this facility. Its clean, well maintained and is a really good value compared to the place with the orange doors I moved from and the bad experience I had to go with it. So glad to be here instead.

I have been charged a 'late fee' & have had my possessions locked denying me access, for questioning an obvious over charge for a truck rental, that was also paid in full. The payment for the Storage was 'taken' for the truck, which was overcharged by two days & extra mileage. I and my bank questioned the charges, & asked for a clarification of them. This location would not return a phone call, and could not have behaved in a more callous, and cold manner. They advertise themselves as 'local and face to face' - don't believe it. In all my 20 to 25 years of having used a truck or a storage, which was a few times within that time frame, I have never, ever been treated as badly and without any regard for how I responsibly paid for any service, than I have by this business. Do yourself a favor, do business ANY PLACE else.
