Oak Ridge Pediatrics

Horribly rude staff. We were going to switch to Oak Ridge Pediatrics from our daughter's previous pediatrician in Knoxville. We contacted them to find out what we needed to do to get an appointment. We switched our insurance and were having her records forwarded over. The staff at oak ridge pediatrics said we had to come in and fill out a form in person for the records to be accepted. 2 hours later we showed up and they said "we are no longer accepting new patients." When we explained that we just spoke to them 2 hours ago and that we had been conversing with them for a week about this, she said "sorry" and closed the reception window in our faces. Now our insurance is already switched to a place we can't go and our old pediatrician has dropped us and won't accept us back since they aren't accepting anymore patients either.
Oak Ridge Pediatrics completely screwed us over, and more importantly, our 16 month old daughter with a heart defect. Terrible people.

I have been going to this office for several years. I always thought they were ok until this last visit. Dr. Barongan did a TERRIBLE job with my daughter and then scammed the insurance for the biggest payout. When I called to talk to someone Ms. Lisa "the office manager" was no help at all. Basically said there was nothing I could do about it and the HUNG UP ON ME! We will be switching doctors as soon as possible. I can not believe after all these years and all the people I have referred that they would treat us this was. On a positive note Mary Kathy and Dr. McAllister are great. Too bad the rest of the office isnt worth anything.

Seriously rude front staff!!!!!! I cannot stand going here I have no choice had I had the choice I would NOT bring my children her the women on the front are rude nasty individuals....I expect a warm welcome when taking my children to a pediatric clinic! Instead I get rudeness I almost feel like iam up Noth cause there so rude!!!!! I had to tell one of them she didn't need to be and she changed her tune real quick..it's like they can't find decent people to run the front of the clinic instead they have pieces of garbage running the show...it's a shame..
