Do not rent from them. The office ladies are rude and are disrespectful. Maintenance does not get done. Yard work is not completed. Lived there for 2 years- when I signed the lease I was told the grass was being redone because of plumbing that needed to be done in the unit. Well I left and it was still not done. The parking monitor would yell even if you were parked for 2 minutes carrying on a toddler and groceries. Moved out and they mailed the deposit to the wrong address and Kristie has stated it was her error. That is pretty standard for them honestly. They are untrustworthy and unless you hold their hand stuff will not get done. Had water leaking in my bathroom from upstairs tenant - came and “fixed once” well they fixed the hole in my ceiling but not the leaks so months later it was happening again and that never got fixed. Love when toilet water drips on you when you are using the bathroom- that was highly enjoyable. Stay away- do not rent.

Warning to anyone considering these apartments!! The low rent and updated fixtures seem appealing at first, I assure you it's not worth half of what they charge to live here. The buildings are located practically on top of very active train tracks. Which is not mentioned ever. And if you ever have a problem with your unit GOOD LUCK getting things fixed. They do a half ass job "fixing" everything. And that's if you can tolerate the super snotty and condescending leasing office employees. I thought KELLY was the worst until I had to deal with CHRISTINE. The fact that any company would let these people represent them speaks volumes in itself. There's been so many problems but leaking ceilings, flooring issues, terrible neighbor and parking issues (as this complex offers zero visitor parking and your guests have to park on the street and walk) not to mention the mice infestation that they don't seem to care about. (Just to name a few) I highly recommend you avoid this place at all costs!!

RENTERS BEWARE!!!! I WOULD NOT SUGGEST RENTING FROM THESE APARTMENTS OR ANY OTHER COACHLIGHT PROPERTIES!!! We lived in The Apartment Homes of WIldwood Preserve for over 6 years and during that time we were good tenants however we always had issues with getting things fixed and promises were always made that our apartment would be remodeled because our cabinets and countertops were all falling apart when we moved in and that never happened. We ended up purchasing a home and put in proper notice to move out. We received our move out procedure sheet and did everything on the list; we swept the floors, mopped, dusted, cleaned out the fridge, vaccumed the floors and all the window tracts, ETC. approximately 2 weeks after we moved out we received a letter stating that we owed over $2600 in cleaning fees and that is after they took our $815 security deposit. I am not sure how it is even lawful to charge $1000 to repaint an apartment or $740 to replace carpeting that is more than 6 years old. There were also random charges for cleaning such as cleaning soap scum out of the tub for $150. This is just beyond ridiculous when I made sure the apartment was cleaned top to bottom before I turned in the keys!!!! To make matters even worse we sent them a letter disputing the charges and instead of responding they sent us to collections less than 21 days after they sent us the original letter! Just a word of caution to anyone that chooses to rent from them or from anyone TAKE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING, GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING, AND KEEP COPIES OF EVERYTHING SO YOU DON'T GET SCREWED!!!!!!!!!

Been here long time. Seen it all. Used to be ok place to live, but now is just one big band aid. Everything is covered up. Leaks, mold, no heat, poor snow removal ect. Many tenants talking about same problems. Even saw a company treating apt for bed bugs. Maintance guys not real bright. Cheap yes! You don't even get what you pay for. AVOID

Great price BUT the management doesn't care for the safety of their tennants!!! Black mold being painted over and have to give a sixty day notice to vacate when you want to move out and not willing to work with you on it! They don't take the maintenances advice to call fire dept when a tenant smells smoke!!! Heat and hot water goes out a lot even during the winter and they won't waiver on rent due to higher electric bill due to space heaters to keep up on heat!!!!! Don't move here!!!

Worst apartment and experience....

The 24 hour maintenance is a total lie and it take 2 days to fix any simple or emergency problem. Dirty, no swimming pool facility for all apartment. they provide key of some people. no nice park,swing broken always . rat stay here. AC in living room only. heater does not work. short hair lady is stuck and very rude. if anything will break you need to buy yourself and fix too .. very old apartment.... be away !!!!

I used to leave at this property years ago. I just moved back and I must say wow, what a huge change. Regarding Dan's review, before I would have agreed with him but not anymore. They finally got ride of that cranky lady out of the office and the quite one who never cared. With maintenance I couldn't be more happy that they finally got rid of those other guys. Every time I call the office for a work order or just a question they are so nice. I don't get an attitude and if they don't know the answer to my question they actually call me back with an answer. Dan I can understand why you are upset but you can't be upset with the new ladies in there or the new maintenance guys. If you were unhappy for that long you should have left. If you only stayed because of the price, that was by your choice. I moved because I was unhappy and now I'm back because I read good things and heard good things about the place. I'm sure you are young and are not going to read this. With mold in bathrooms I used to work maintenance at a apartment place. You can be the cleanest person and still get mold. Clean it up! Its called bleach don't be so F***ing lazy!!! All I got to say is that I am happy I moved back here. Everything has changed and its for the better.

My name is Dan and I have been living at Wildwood for over 5 years now, this is our last month here and I can't be happier. At first when I moved in I was satisfied.. It was my first apartment after moving out of the parents house. Upon moving in there were nails in the floor and the apartment was not fully cleaned from the last person living here. After being here a few months I realized how HORRIBLE the maintenance is!! The 24 hour maintenance is a total lie and it took them 2 days to fix a leak!!! I still have work orders I filed MONTHS ago!!! Mold shows up in the bathroom after 10 showers after ventilating the bathroom before during and after shower , and they blame us!!!! My kids are living here with mold and they blame us!! Horrible! Be very careful about the fat Parking guy he is extremely disrespectful and will tow any vehicle in his way, that man will tow you for unloading your stuff when you're moving in!! I had to put him in his place several times. There is a very bitc*y lady in the main office with short hair and wide eyes. Anything that happens in your apartment she will blame you and its your fault. She is also very disrespectful and rude. I complain about mold and mention I have kids she says "oh well, isn't bad for you" oh she's a medical expert . Please heed my warning... Please look elsewhere. This is a horrible place to live and raise a family... If you haven't lived here, please don't put a 5 star rating expecting the best experience ever, cause you will be disappointed . This is my warning to all, this is the absolute worst, of worst. The people who live in my building were nice for a while and mean people are starting to move in . I am sickened by the fact I have these people any money at all. Please look anywhere else before you settle here... It's not worth it. Heat doesn't work during the winter and they claim its just a minor problem "EVERY YEAR!" They say they will fix heat, it barely works, washer and dryers are super expensive and don't work, I can go on and on!! Please again reconsider something else, I have been here over 5 years,

I made this place flawless before i moved out let's see how much of my security deposit they steal. Heed my warning as you will see. This place is the worst of the worst, they don't care for you nor ever will and blame you for everything. Thanks for your time i wish you luck in your search.

These apartments are perfect! Clean, new apartments. Worth the price! lots of friendly people and kids, I can't wait to move in!! :)

Wow, if I had read some of these reveiews, so glad I didn't, I would never have thought about this place as my new home. It looks like some people only know how to complain. I have been in my apartment since July and love it. I get that there are rules and you sign a lease. did these people read it. I heard a neighbor say they got a ticket for parking in the wrong place. Ok you were wrong admit it and move on don't blame others but except responsibility. I wish the squeeky wheels would get that.

I just wanted to say really! I can only thank the staff for taking this and still smiling when I come to the office! I wouldn't want there job...

I am reading all these reviews that were posted all yesturday and I can't help but laugh. First off the parking guys name is Lee NOT John! He is a nice guy, he has given me a ticket before and I am not angry at him in anyway he is just doing his job. I happen to love the ladies in the office and they have grown to be very good friends of mine. About one of the office ladies smoking marijauna I believe that is a false fact. I come into the office at least once a week mostly to just say hello and ask how things are going and the people who used to live above the office were very nosey, I was signing another 12 month lease addendum and it sounded like someone was just letting kids jump off stuff it actaully made their clock fall off the wall. I have also seen people walk out of the office and not take an apartment if it on an upper because of the people us stairs. So I think they had every right to go upstairs and ask to keep it down. I love the office ladies I go on these reviews because its always the bad tenants that give the property a bad name. The property is very nice and the people who live here are very kind IF you are kind to them. The new maintenance guys are amazing they are very helpful. I am not the tallest person or the strongest and they have acutally helped me carry in things plently of times. Don't blame the office ladies for doing their jobs maybe if you guys would pay your rent you wouldnt get evicted. It is not their fault they don't pay your rent. I have lived on the property for 3 years and it has really made alot progress. I don't ever plan on leaving unless this place goes down hill. But to all these people writing these bad reviews, its people like you that make this place good bad when its really good!!!!

I moved in with my husband last year with my one year old. They knowingly rented the apartment right above their office knowing that we had young child who liked to jump around like a normal kid. They were comstantly sending letters telling ua to quiet down otherwise we'd get evicted and coming upstairs to tell us the same thing. I was pregnant and it made me stressed wondering if they were just gonna do it because they wanted to rent it out again and make us pay the breaking of lease fee to get more money. We noticed one day pur hallway smelt like marijauna and one of the office girls lived across from us. We smelt it coming from HER but they blamed it on us!! I then seperated from my hsband and they told me to fill out a release pf roommate form so i wouldnt get an eviction on my name but i filled it put and gave it to them before the date it was due but i STILL got an.eviction on my name which made me unable to move in with my mom when i had no place go with my kids! Completely heartless!! On top of that we had mice in our apartment and they never did anything about it, not to mention i heard iy from 3 other tenants that they had the same problem in their apartments but nothing was done about it. Then i found a dead mouse that was in front of my moms storage unit and it looked like it had been there for a while. Very rude very nosy and want to be in your business so they can turn whatever situation around that your in to turn it to their benefit!

I am rating this as a two because the apartments are clean. Otherwise the managers were very rude I'm giving them a zero! They need to go back to school or training on how to deal with their tenants, because one time they were on the phone with someone but were yelling and being very unprofessional to someone in their office who was there to talk with them. Very poor people skills. They would harrass me constantly and sending 50 dollar fines for every little thing they could charge you for. Money hungry! They allowed the maintanance guy or parking guy named John to yell at people from outside. Be VERY careful if your going to live here because they are mean and rude and someone should make a lawsuit against them. So happy I'm gone. Hope this review helps.

I have lived in these apartments and there is a nosey old parking guy who issues tickets and tows people whenever.. And kelly there is soo mean.. they allowed a cleaning person to park in my spot and when i told them did nothing about it.. And two weeks later i get a ticket for a guest who did not see there little bitty sign. My bathroom ceiling is leaking has not been fixed people arguing outside wakes me up in the middle of the night.. poor service.. They are nice when you first get there but after they are not.. There is one young girl there that has been nice and jamie has been nice as well..oh and when i told kelly my apartment was too cold in the winter i was told that she legally didnt have to send someone in unless it was below a certain degrees and i didnt have a way to tell her even tho it was freezing..

This apartment is not worth the headache.

I just moved in and WOW its GREAT! I dont get what people are talking about...this place is very nice!! The hallways are clean, my apartment looks amazing and the office ladies were super nice!!!! I guess people dont know the difference between clean and dirty. Plus dont blame the office ladies for YOUR building hallways you and your neighbors are the ones that live in there not them! Would it kill you to maybe pick up the basement and be a GOOD tenant??? Whats all the fuss about the office ladies, they have been very helpful to me since day one. Yeah they got rules, umm hello!!! EVERYONE apartment have rules, what do you think that you can get away with everything, i dont think so! The place i used to live at was the worst!!! This place is 100 times better! I think that everyone needs to stop dissing on the ladies and the apartments, and be GOOD tenants and FOLLLOW the rules, its not that hard!!! Or your just mad because you got kicked out and you want to say mean and nasty things about the WONDERFUL place! GROW up people we are adults now!

If you want a nice place to live that values the health and safety of it's tenants DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I currently live here and have for 2+ years. It used to be nice but I would no longer suggest this place to anyone!! Our basement and hallway have not been cleaned since MARCH!! It is now August. I have complained numerous times and taken pics. The tree that happens to branch over my parking spot is has a huge branch that is about to snap at any second and go into my windshield... they don't care. I have had a bee problem between the cracks of my patio and the building for 2 summers now... they haven't done anything about it and my children have gotten stung. After numerous complaints and asking numerous times they have promised to fix all of this.. none of it has gotten done yet. Cobwebs now fill the hallway and basement (it's like a game going downstairs and trying to not walk into one) and I believe spiders are coming into my home from that area as I have killed many by my door. It is disgusting!!! The people around here are getting sketchier and sketchier.. There was a drug deal done right in the parking lot and they didn't even try to hide it... not the only drug dealers here either. The local gang members that they let live here are fun too... They like to walk around at night, look in windows and vandalize cars and write graffiti on the doors of the apartments. When the office personnel was notified of all this they didn't seem to care one bit. There was even a dead mouse in the basement a few months back. I called immediately to have it picked up as it was in the walkway by the washers.. 4 days later it got removed. Do your self a favor... DON'T MOVE HERE! If I had the security deposit for another place or a down payment for a home I would be outta here in the blink of an eye. I wouldn't even rate this place one star but it was the lowest I could go... trust these reviews and move somewhere else. SLUM LORDS!!!!

Wow!!! After a year a of living here, they finally got new maintance staff, they are amazing! They get stuff done right away. The office ladies are amazing as well, I am so glad they are finally cleaning up the old maintance man's mess! I think that is why this place used to be a dumb, was because of him. He was the worst maintance guy ever! But the new guys are amazing! I love them to death! My son is soo happy he can finally swing on the swings, and the playground is so nice and picked up. I love going into the office an talking with the ladies there they are so nice and they are on top of everything. I dont get why people think this place is a dumb. It really isnt, it is in a nice area with great people around it. People got to remember that it must be hard running all these apartments with only two people in the office, and all these people, and before they got the new maintance guys they had a crappy maintance who never did anything, i love living here and i prob wont ever move!!!

DO NOT RENT!!! If you don't know what a dump looks like, maybe you should call the office of Wildwood apartments and schedule a tour. Don't forget to ask about the heat that does not work during winter, the broken slides and benches and play areas for the kids, the trashy hallways, the insanely rude and inappropriate staff, oh yeah and how could you forget to ask about the local gang that runs through this property and vandilizes cars, property, and buildings. But, if you still end up living at this place, and realize that maybe you should have read this review and took it seriously, feel free to use services of two drug dealers that also live on this property, maybe that would relax you and give you a piece of mind.

When I moved in nothing was done to my apartment. It wasnt cleaned or painted, I called and it took them 2 months to finally do anything and all they did was paint one room! Everything in this place is broken or falling apart. Cars get towed for no reason, My child has been hurt in his own room on broken/dirty closet doors. Talking to the girls in the front office do not get you anywhere and when you finally get ahold of the owner she is even worse! Most unprofessional group of people I have ever met. I pay my rent in full on time every month so there is no reason for them not to address my concerns, apparently to them that isnt enough? I wish I would of read the reviews before I moved in. I have been living here less then 3 months and I am now in the processes of hiring a lawyer to get out of our lease. The first day we moved in we had a mold problem. Basement washer and dryer does not work at all, the washer ruins clothes and the dryer doesnt dry. This place is a joke!
